Sooner Mall

Sooner Mall is the only large mall of its kind in Norman, Oklahoma. The mall has recently been renovated and is a nice, clean and beautifully decorated mall. I like shopping at Dillard's, Sears, Penneys, Victoria Secret, Stein Mart. They have a nice coffee and tobacco store too. As well as several jewelry stores and a Hallmark Store. You can contact the mall office or visit their website to get the store listings. Make sure to visit their website to enter the gift certificate giveaways and find out other events going on in the mall. They also have a nice play area for kids as well as visits from Santa and the Easter bunny during that time of year.

Sooner Mall is conveniently located in Norman off of West Main Street. You wil find plenty of parking here!

Mc Connell Realty

McConnell Realty is another family owned business in Norman, Oklahoma. They have been in Norman for many years and are experienced, honest realtors and provide an excellent service. I went to school with their kids and got to know their family. The McConnell family work together to help you find the best home for you and/or your family.
They are located right off of Main Street on Mercedes where I grew up.

7-Eleven

7/11 is famous for their super glup foundation drinks. I love to go to this store to get a slurpy frozen drink, especially on a HOT afternoon. They are conveniently located right off of Main Street. 7/11 usually has the lowest gas prices in town. At this store you can even rent videos.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable too.

Barr Joel W

I haven't had to use Joel Barr's services myself but I can tell you from the feedback I've received from family and friends Joel is a great attorney. Joel has been in business for many years here in Norman, OK. He knows the laws in this city and state and is very knowledgable in his field. Give him a call. Most attorneys will give you a free consultation to determine if he/she will take your case.

Green Door Mercantile

I love Green Door! To me it's a shabby chic store. They have a wide variety of gift items from candles to flags, furniture, to antiques. You will find a wide range of pricing here so there is something for everyone on any budget. It's a cozy, friendly store. I have purchased many Christmas gifts and items for my home at Green Door. Parking is limited but you will find parking near by that is walking distance.

Amf Bowling Centers

AMF is a large bowling center that is great fun for the entire family. They have lanes for beginners to advanced. They have a game center and also a play where your young children can play. You can bowl by the hour or by the game. They also usually have music in the evening and sometimes night bowling where they turn out the lights and light up the lanes and play music. The food there is great....especially the burgers and fries! You'll never have trouble finding a parking space and all their prices are reasonable to me.

Hancock Fabrics

Hancock Fabrics has been around for years. This large store has everything you need to make window treatments, cover furniture, some home furshining items to covering pillows. I bought everything to make my wedding dress from Hancocks. The staff are helpful and are very knowledgable if you are a beginner at sewing and need ideas or help. At one point they offered sewing classes and other demonstrations. Call and check with the store to see what they offer. Hancocks is located in a large shopping mall so parking is never a problem. I have found their prices are very reasonable.

Firehouse Art Ctr

The Firehouse Art Center is a great place to check out if you want to learn to paint, take photography, learn how to use a pottery wheel and more This center is for beginners and the advanced. They have activities going on all the time. You can also purchase items from local artists at the center. I think this is the best place in Norman for beginners to get their start in the arts.

Fed Ex Kinko's Office & Print

Kinkos has a wide variety of services. They have computer stations, phone area to make calls, you can purchase some office supplies, greeting cards, invitations as well as get your copying, binding, printing done here. They also print pictures on mouse pads and coffee mugs. They can do just about anything you need. If you need your copying done ASAP you can do it yourself on the copy machines they have available for customers. Otherwise if Kinkos does it for you will have to wait or come back since this is a very busy store.

Parking is sometimes hard to find as well as waiting in line to place your service order.

Havenbrook Funeral Home

I've never had to use Havenbrook's services but have attended funerals there. The facility is large with nice decorate. It is a pretty new funeral home in town. The staff I came in contact with were very nice and helpful. The chapel area is very nice and will accommodate a large group of people. I'm not sure how competitive this type of business is, so if cost is a factor you may want to call several funeral homes.
