Arabia Steamboat Museum

Come see history that was buried in a farmers backyard for over a 100 years. You get to see the actual items they dug up and found in this boat like preserved food such as pickles, hardware, and jewelry. You can also pick up some purfume replicated at the gift shop from that found on the boat. Tours available for groups. Neat experience for adults and children.

Liberty Hills Country Club

The Country Club offers a nice place to have a reception or wedding. I have been here for 2 receptions and they were very nice. There was plenty of room and I know both parties who hosted the receptions were very pleased with the service they recieved and the prices they were given to rent out the area.

City of Liberty Parks & Recreation

The Liberty Community Center is one of the nicest centers around the metro area. They offer a large gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, theater, and banquet rooms for rent. This is a great place to throw a party or get together since there is so much to do. The community center also offers pool passes, gym passes, swimming lessons, etc. year round.

Kansas City Symphony Fndtn

If you enjoy classical music then the Kansas City Symphony is a great experience to check out. They have some of the most talented musicians who play. Great date idea for a quiet night out on the town. There are many great restaurants located downtown nearby for before or after the show.

Tiffany Greens Golf Club

Fairly new golf course to the area. They offer a nice package with a local hotel where you can stay at the hotel and then catch a ride over to the golf course where you can play a round of golf. Nice restaurant located here to grab lunch. Large Clubhouse to book your next event or party.

PROS: Packages for golfing are really nice
CONS: Depending on what you get you may pay a little more than expected

Friends of the Zoo

The zoo offers not only animals but a large Imax theater. You can ride the train around the zoo and experience it in half the time of walking. See everything from polar bears, apes, and elephants to seals, peacocks, and goats. Group packages and specials available. Come early and stay all day. Bring your lunch or eat at one of the spots in the zoo.

Office Depot

This store is full of office supplies. They also have a copy center where you can get whatever you need copied or faxed. Office Depot has a large selection of paper, notebooks, ink, and other misc. office supplies. The employees are very friendly here to help you find whatever you may need for the office at work or the office at home.

Isle Of Capri Casinos

This casino is very nice. It is one of the newer ones added to the area. They have a large selection of places to eat. My favorite thing here is the free live entertainment that they offer. Very close to Downtown Kansas City. Bright, full of energy and a very lively place to be.

PROS: Free Live entertainment
CONS: You can lose money gambling

Ameristar Casino & Hotel Kansas City

This is one of Missouri's largest casinos. They have a 2 floor casino here that is always full. If you have kids you can drop them off at the movie theater, arcade or the childcare facility which has a huge indoor playground. Grab a bite to eat while your here also. There are several restaurants to choose from and a large buffet. If you need a place to stay they also offer a hotel.

PROS: 2 floors of casino
CONS: Costs a lot of money

Science City At Union Station

Come see history restored. This building was built in 1913 and fully renovated in 1996. They offer something for everyone from movies, dining, to Science City where you can explore and learn with a hundred activities. Great place to bring the family and plenty to do and see. You wont be disappointed.
