Sun Jose has just about anything you can think of - regarding Hawaiian Items. Leis, hawaiian shirts, hawaiian print fabric, Ukileilis, music, decals/stickers, t-shirts and much more. I love Hawaiian items especially Hibiscus - and I fell in love with this store.
CONS: Store Size decreased - I believe due to rent
This store is great, not only do they have just about every paper imaginable, stickers, stamps, magazines, embellishments and punches. This store is huge and it also has a work area. They make pre-made pages - if you want those. (Also next to Chuckie Cheese, drop the kids and husband off and go scrapbooking next door).
PROS: Huge Store
This scrapbook store is great. Its located in a really nice strip mall on Campbell - next to Kragans. They have a wide variety of embellishments, stickers, papers and tools. They conduct a lot of classes and give customers the opportunity to just come in and have a place to scrap. They have a lot of tables set-up and tools that you can use while you are there. Just a wonderful friendly atmosphere.
PROS: Great Products
CONS: They don't specialty order
We decided to go to Disneyland at the last minute - so the Ramada Maingate/Saga was the only nice hotel we could find. The hotel is right across the street from the main entrance, its very clean, great rooms, and friendly service. There is a free continental breakfast every morning which includes: danish, muffins, toast, orange juice, apple juice, coffee and tea. The hotel has two gift shops, snack bar, concierge office - where you can get cheap attraction tickets etc, laundry room and there are soda and ice machines on every floor. As soon as you call for more towels or anything else - they bring it immediately to your room. At night you can see the fireworks at Disneyland its beautiful. The spa is a little small - but the pool is nice and there is an area which is only 1 ft deep - which is great for the little kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel, whole heartedly. There are a lot of restaurants around including: Tony Romas, IHOP, Denny's, Captain Kidds, McDonalds and a few fast food places within short driving distance.
PROS: Awesome Hotel All Around
CONS: Absolutely NONE
I heard rumors for along time and just decided to go in and try it - they have great marinated carne asada and so many products you would never be able to find in a regular grocery store - they even have sodas in the old glass bottles (they taste a little different due to them being bottled in Mexico).
PROS: Great Carne Asada
CONS: Some regular things taste a little off
This place is better than Blockbuster - because it is not Blockbuster. They have all the new movies and friendlier service, but they do not give false accusations about keeping your movie as long as you want or no late fees. Its a small town Video place and I think its great.
PROS: No lying
CONS: Not a huge selection, but a good selection
I do not recommend this Rite Aid pharmacy to anyone. They do not have your prescriptions done on time, they lose your presriptions and they do not apologize for mix-ups. Everytime I place an order for a refill I no longer go in when it says it should be ready - I wait a couple of days and it still usually isn't ready. Plus, they don't care if you need the medicine immediately - they take their sweet time even if its life or death. I hate this pharmacy and am going to switch to the Pharmacy at Raleys - because its closer to my house and you don't have to wait as long.
If you are looking for nail art, white tips, clear tips or a great pedicure this is the place to go. All the staff is very friendly and have very reasonable prices. Plus, they are open all of the time and only takes walk-ins no appts. This is the only nail salon in town that does nail art and that don't charge an arm and a leg for their services. I am from Sacramento and getting your nails done and a pedicure is pretty cheap, until I found this place I was paying $50 for a full set and $25 for a fill - which was definitely gouging my pocket book. Go check out First Nails - you won't be dissapointed.
PROS: Great Service, Prices & Product
CONS: They don't speak the best English
Yokayo Bowl is the only bowling alley in Ukiah - so there is nothing else to compare it to here in town. They have a lot of charity bowl events etc. It is in a safe part of town and near the freeway. Lots of people go bowling all the time and it is a nice small town Bowling Alley. If you like to bowl, you will have a lot of fun.
PROS: Nice Staff and Lots of events
CONS: Only bowling alley in town
Big Lots is ok for somethings and not for others. Because Big Lots only sells closeout items - what you want one week might not be there the next. They do carry some quality brands, but they also carry a lot of junk and stuff that is just the worth the money. I will never buy their food items - no matter how cheap they are. Just check your mail for their ads and if you see something you like go - but otherwise don't.
PROS: Good Deals Sometimes
CONS: Bad Service & A lot of Junk
