When a rock on the highway cracked my windshield, I had no other option to replace it when the cracks started to get longer. I shopped around, and found Allstate offered the best price. I made an appointment, and the installer came out and replaced the glass with no problems, right in front of my home. I didn't have to drive anywhere to get it done. He did a great job, and I haven't had any problems with it since.
Other places wanted to charge over $200 more than Allstate, as I didn't have an insurance deductible low enough to cover the entire replacement.
I dealt with this dealership on two ocassions, once when my friend was looking for a used car, and another when I wanted to test drive an Acura. The salesman was extremely pushy with my friend (of which I can't really fault as that is their job), but he insisted on having him sign for the car that day, until he finally caved and did.
The other experience with my test drive was a pleasant one. My salesman mentioned a couple of time of driving off the lot that day, but I made it quite evident that it wasn't going to happen as the new home purchase was looming. All in all, he treated me with resepect.
I guess it's either bad or good, depending on which salesman you choose!
When I moved from my previous apartment (3rd floor apartment that is) to my new apartment (another 3rd floor apartment), I was under the impression that moving out myself would be a pain. I shopped around, and found that Liberty Movers offered the best price for the amount of time I needed them.
They came in, packed up the heavy items very well, and knew exactly how to handle everything. They knew how to handle the furniture going up and down the stairs (no elevators in my apartments!), and did not break a single thing. They were prompt and curteous.
I highly recommend them!
If you're looking for someone that does a thorough job of making sure you're teeth are healthy, I'd would definitely recommend this dentist. She's very personable and is down to earth. She will recommend what needs to be done, and is very doesn't try to cause unneeded pain (for those that do not enjoy visiting the dentist).
I'm not too familiar with the prices as I have a dental plan that covers some of it.
Parking in their lot is difficult because it's so small. I recommend parking on one of the side streets (such as Duke St.) if you can't find another spot.
Like any Party City, this one offers the usual party delights and decorations. I came here for wedding invitations (I didn't know they did those here either), and came out satisfied. The person in charge helped me with the order, and helped me pick out what I liked out of the standard invitation books that you can find in smaller shops.
On top of that, I got a 20% discount off the invitations, and I got a quick turnaround time when I ordered them, as they said they like to pass the savings on to the customers. Parking is not an issue, as they have lot right in front of the store.
Highly recommend this location!
Alexandria Animal Hospital seems to really have a good grip on taking care of pets. It has a long list of clientele, which can be typically noticed from the number of pets that are brought in daily.
The vets are very gentle with the pets, and try to take care of them best as possible.
The only problem that seems to be is the price. I'm sure it's pretty standard, but you can come out paying $100 for a check-up.
Parking can be an issue on busy days, as the lot is pretty small.
I came down here for a spring weekend and I must say that the Claridge Hotel was great. The rooms were nice, the hotel as a whole was inviting and had a spanish charm to it. The employees were also very helpful and friendly.
It's not right on the Miami Beach 'strip', but it's either a quick cab ride or walk. There is a beach right in front of the hotel. Parking seems to be the only problem, as they charge $18 a day for valet parking.
Great value for the money when compared to other hotels around the area.
Wow. That's how I describe this place. All you can eat meat (and that includes good cuts of meat including filet mignon), a bottle of wine, salad, appetizers, and side items for an extremely reasonable price of about $24 a person.
If you want good Argenitine steaks, as well as great atmosphere and a friendly wait-staff. This is the place to go.
Be sure to arrive earlier than expected as the wait tends to be long to get a table. Parking is not bad either as it is located in a strip-mall.
Not only do they offer one of the cheapest prices for gasoline around, but their small service center also offers very good service and a very reasonable price.
I went in there for my state inspection, and was out within 10 minutes. No problems or hassle with the folks. They recommended to fix a couple of things, which I took seriously as they didn't say something that made it sound like they could fix now for a fee.
I stayed here once, and did not really enjoy the stay. The rooms were extremely small, and the beds were uncomfortable. The rooms and the hotel were clean, but there was stench of chlorine eminating in the halls from the indoor pool.
It is very close to the Mall of America, and parking didn't seem to be problem.
The 'free' breakfast was not that great either.
