This is the best burlington coat factory I have ever shopped at. They are really more than just coats!!! They have the best selection of name brand designers--Hilfiger, Polo, Guess, Baby Phat, Nine West Shoes, Anne Klein, etc--at about 50% of the retail price. The store is really big and they have a great shoe selection, as well as a great selection of accessories such as purses, belts, jewelry and hats. The store is located inside the Jersey Gardens Outlet mall.
Okay, I probably shouldn't be revealing this, but yes, I love to shop at Conway. You can find some of the cutest shirts and pants here at AMAZINGLY cheap prices. I have this one shirt in particular that people used to compliment me on all the time--little did they know it was from Conway!!! Probably the only bad thing about this store is they do not have a fitting room...BUT you can return anything for a full refund within 30 days. If you're on a budget but do not want to dress like you're on one, I can honestly say you will be happy shopping at Conway. Some of their stuff looks just like the namebrand clothes that you will pay 10x's more for.
PROS: Great quality clothes at dirt cheap prices!
CONS: No fitting room in the store
Active duty military get in free here, and student's get a great discount. The USS Intrepid is a huge military ship turned museum, and while onboard you can tour fighter jet planes and missle submarines. The virtual exhibits are a lot of fun, and they have a cool kids zone for the kids! It's also a very educational experience, as you will learn the history of the military and about past wars during your tour.
Handsdown, the MET has the best art galleries in New York, and I would say in the country. I love their ancient world collections, the american paintings and sculptures, and the renaissance and baroque exhibits. They have Jazz on Fridays, and the gift shop has cool souveniers. Plan to spend alteast a whole day here, if not more, because the museum is huge.
PROS: Beautiful Art Museum
This is a nice place to have dinner with your significant other on a special occassion. The dinner cruises usually last about 4 hours, and you get a nice meal, drinks, live musical entertainment and an awesome view as you sail along the Hudson. Probably the only thing I would say is there is a Spirit of NJ on the other side of the river, it sails along the same New York Harbor, has the same accomodations, but the prices are a little bit cheaper. You can book private parties on the ship for engagement parties, birthday parties, or other special events.
This is a variety store that has a little bit of everything. I think they have the best deals on Electronics. I bought a really nice cordless phone for about $20. They also sell these really cool HUGE Supersize paper cups that I have not been able to find anywhere else. You can buy food, cheap furniture, clothes, and all types of stuff here, but I really only come here for the Electronics, the cups and cleaning supplies. It's located in a shopping center and there's never a problem finding parking.
Going to Stew Leonards is always a treat. The store looks like a farm, and they are known for their fresh dairy. It's a fun place for kids because they have costumed characters and animated electronics, throughtout the store, and they sometimes have hay rides, petting zoos, or a pumpkin patch. They have awesome prices--with $100 you can buy enough groceries to last you for about a good month. They have great baked goods as well--I especially love the ham and cheese croissants.
I have been to this museum many times, and each time is exciting. There is a small fee, but it is really just a "donation," so you don't have to pay the fee if you don't want to. I always pay though, as it supports the museum. There is so much to do here, that you can't possibly visit all the exhibits in one day. There is the planetarium, the dinosaur bones, a space show which is awesome, all types of animal fossils, and artifacts from Africa, Asia, India, etc....A visit here is truly an enlightening and fulfilling experience.
This hotel is really nice. Each room is a two-room suit and the amenities are great--cable tv, kitchen area, sofa bed, king size bed in the master bathroom, pool, jacuzzi, and they have a daily happy hour. The staff was very friendly, and the room service was quick. The drinks at the bar were decent. But, best of all, we got a great rate at this hotel and so my friends and I were able to stay here and party all night long. No one bothered us because we were quiet. I would definitely stay here again!
Of all the many law schools in New York City, this school has the worst reputation. I honestly am not sure how their grads get jobs. It costs just as much as other law schools, but it is a fourth tier school that people view as a joke. It isn't affiliated with any undergraduate institution and it's a pretty small school. People that I know who have graduated from here have had problems finding decent paying jobs. If this is the best school that you can get into, I'd say choose another career or study harder for the LSAT.
