Buffalo Exchange

Ok, I go back and forth on this one, depending on what you're looking for. The story on this place is that they buy used/vintage clothes that are still trendy or in good condition and resell them. They tend to have brand names that are less expensive and some really good finds, but sometimes you wonder why something that has been pre-owned is still priced so high. However, generally in terms of buying clothes, it is a great store. They have both unique and trendy styles for good prices. In terms of selling clothes, however, it can be a frustrating experience. Unless you are someone who can buy expensive clothes, wear them once, and sell them to this store, you aren't going to get much out of it. They are very picky and won't take things if they have any noticible wear or sometimes even if they are too wrinkled! However, it can be nice to earn a few, and I literally mean a few, bucks from this. Also, they will donate all the clothes they don't use to the needy. Overall, this place is pretty good, but ccan sometimes be a frustrating experience when selling to them.

Sushi On Mc Kinney Japanese

Dallas, TX Japanese Restaurants 05/26/05: 'Good, Cheap Sushi'

This is one of the greatest sushi places I know of. It is good quality sushi- never anythin sketchy about the food- and it always tastes fresh and delicious, but it is really cheap. I think it is the cheapest sushi i've come across that is still truly delicious. There is a sushi bar and table seating. The service is always fast and good. They have all the well-known sushi and rolls, along with a few specials. They also have other choices of dinners and appetizers for those who don't want to venture for raw fish. There are only parking problems during peak dinner times, and although English is not the native language of most of the waiting staff, I have never had a problem with my orders. Also, they have the best green tea icecream i've ever had!

Chip's Old Fashioned Hamburger

Dallas, TX Restaurants 05/26/05: 'Good 'Ol Burger Place'

This is a great place to come when you're looking for a good burger. Chips has great food and variety. They do great burgers, chicken sandwhiches, salads, and many other choices, along with great milkshakes! You order at the counter and seat yourself. It is a great place for afternoon lunches/snacks or a casual dinner. It is good for families along with groups of teens or adults. They have a few video games to entertain kids and tend to have sports games on TV. During sports seasons, its a great place to take the team after a game. They also have outside seating, which is grat on a nice day. The only set back is the occasional lack of parking, but that is really only at rush hour times, usually it is pretty laid back.

Lovers Pizza Pasta

Dallas, TX Pizza Restaurants 05/26/05: 'Great Casual Place to Eat'

I really like this joint. It is a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. You order at the counter and seat yourself, but waiters will bring your food to you. The food is really good. They have great sized portions for your money and huge pieces of pizza, so it is definitely inexpensive for what you get. The only onsite problem would be that during rush times, they can't always fit everyone who wants to be there! It is a small resturaunt, so there is limited seating, and parking can be a problem. However, if you aren't in the mood to fight your way for a spot, they will deliver, and they tend to be pretty fast on deliveries. I think this is a great place when you aren't looking for anything too fancy!

PROS: great food, inexpensive, casual, do deliver
CONS: sometimes hard to find seating or parking
