Based on my experience with this particular stylist, I was not satisfied. That's not to say the salon is bad, just the stylist who did my hair. I brought in a couple of picures of the style that I wanted and the stylist said she could replicate it. It wasn't quite what I wanted, but it looked good from what I could tell. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed that my hair was uneven. Trying to reschedule an appointment also proved to be an unpleasant experience with the rude girl at the front desk. Long story short, I went back and the stylist seemed irritated and wouldn't admit there was anything wrong with the cut. She re-did my hair, but it still doesn't look like she has the experience to create a cut that's outside the box of what she learned in beauty school. Deffinitely not worth the amount that I paid.
PROS: Lots of openings, convenient location.
CONS: Too pricey for their experience.
The fitness equipment seems a little old. The parking lot is barely adequate. And the club is lacking a steam room and pool. There is, however, still a dry sauna. The music they play is pretty good. Mostly club and pop music, which I like cause it always gets me in the mood to work out. All in all, not the best 24 Hour club there is, but if you live close by and only use basic equipment, it's not that bad.
PROS: Not very busy
CONS: Not very busy, not as well equiped as other locations.
This is one of those "hole in the wall" places that people love. It's in the trendy NW area of portland surounded by lots of little shops. The pizza here is fantastic if you like the no frills New York style pizza. Whenever I go, it always seems to be busy (which is a good sign), but the service is very fast. There's even some funny comics and pictures hanging to entertain you while you wait. Parking isn't hard to find, but it's not easy either. You just have to drive aroud until one pops up.
I've always had a good experience renting cars here. The people are always friendly and they have a variety of cars to select from. If none are available, they will usually give you an upgrade and no additional charge.
I took my car in to get my ignition fixed under recall. I get a phone call later from the service department telling me that I needed my transmission fluid and radiator fluid changed, BOTH of which I have done within the last month or two BY ME! Not very impressed at how they like to take advantage of people who think don't know any better. It may, and I hope this is true, because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, be a case of missunderstanding, but it upset me nonetheless. If you go here for service, make sure you know your car inside and out and call them on any reccomended service that you KNOW it does not need.
PROS: Available loaners (25+) and rentals (very upscale) for those under 25.
CONS: Qustionable service department.
I called about a particular car that I was looking for and called them up. I spoke with a sales representative and he informed me that the car I was looking for was in stock. I get there and speak with the general manager who came out immediately as I pulled in. I asked him about the car and he said he didn't have it. I told him the man that I spoke with told me it was here. Then I start hearing laughing in the background. I could NOT believe what I was hearing. Avoid this place at all costs.
I have purchased two sets of tires from this location so far and was very satisfied both times. Actually, my whole family buys tires here too. They are fast, friendly, and do things for free even if you didn't buy tires from them. The managment has changed and the quality of sevice has declined a little, but they are still more honest than most of the other tire dealers out there.
