I threw out my back a few years ago and Dr. Devine was reccomended to me. I had never been to a Chiropractor before and did not know what to expect. He is a consumate professional, they take x-rays and give you down to earth payment options. However, like all Chiro's, they want you to come in three times a week for a long LONG time.
the best care in town, the friendliest staff, and clean clean offices. I know that the dentist can be a forboding place to have to go, but when you go... go to Dr. Jaymor.
I have seen some very funny comedians here... Lewis Black, Paul Provenza, Mitch Hedberg and they have had some real comedy whales in the past... Seinfeld. This is not the only comedy club in town but it certainly is the best. The drinks are good and fairly priced and sometimes when you buy a ticket you get a comp ticket for an upcoming show too!
If you are in the market for a bike, and it's summertime so you should be, consider Gregg's. The service I got when I shopped here was awesome. I felt comfortable with the sales associate and I knew that I wouldn't be thought less of for asking, what may seem like, obvious questions. I highly reccomend Gregg's.
yes. their prices are good. yes. they have good sales. yes. they are a BIG BIG corporate monster out to eat the little independant music shop. If price matters more to you than supporting your local economy, then by all means shop here.
PROS: good prices
CONS: CORPORATE BEAST!!!
The Trading Musician has the look of a pawn shop and the customer service of a angsty/elitist music shop, which, is what you can expect. Don't try asking a simple question becasue you will get the what-do-you-mean-you-don't-know-as-much-about music-as-I-do look, which nobody likes. I will say this, when I had to sell my drumkit, they gave me the best price.
PROS: "fair" prices on trade-ins
I have a hard time shopping for presents but at the Endless Knot it seems SO EASY! I guess the real trick is finding the right place to buy the gifts and the Endless Knot provides myriad jewelry selections and fantastic women's clothing.
I'm telling you, I haven't had my car washed for, literally, months and I was a little ashamed. I had forgotten that my beautiful Lincoln Towncar had whitewall tires, and for only ten dollars my whitewalls were shining and my car was happy again. Brown Bear is the best in town.
PROS: GREAT WASHES AND SERVICE
okay, I've lived in seattle for eight years and have only been here a few times but it is always great to spend some time feeling like a visitor. they have those cool olde tyme nickel machines where you get a 1920's peep show. (HILARIOUS!)
you might miss it because it looks like an old fire house, and the inside is a little cramped but the selection of videos and dvd's is great! they have a nice selection of foreign and independent films.
