I had a really bad experience with T Mobile. I had purchased a phone for my youngest son and activated it through T Mobile. They assured me he could hook to the net as well as use it as a regular phone. When we tried to hook to the net, it was impossible. Many phone calls back and forth got me nowhere.
The customer service people had no clue what they were talking about and were rude.
The phone service was not too good. Dropped calls and static were the norm.
I was so upset with the service both the quality and customer service that I cancelled my plan and explained why. I was promised a service that they didn't provide and sold a phone that didn't do what I was told it would do. They knew I was going to cancel and said they understood and that all I had to do was to pay the remaining balance of the month's fee. I did that.
They then decided to due me for canceling my plan early and it ended up in a big battle.
Suffice to say, I will stick with Verizon. they may not be the cheapest but I have excellent quality there at least.
This is a massive commercial store with everything you could want as it pertains to computing and technology. Buy a computer, printer, scanner, components, you name it. They have everything including loads of software.
the prices are usually quite good but the products are often boxed and bundled and you can't really customize a computer. Still, their deals are good.
They have service onsite and they also send your computer out for repair if it needs it. You can buy warrantees with computers or take your chances.
The staff is helpful and most know a lot about computer sand your needs and can help you pick the right desktop or laptop or whatever you are looking for.
I shop here for components like USB hubs and memory and the like as well as printers and monitors. I have no purchased a computer there as I prefer to buy my computers customized to my needs and not boxed or bundled.
CompUsa is a good, and large, place for all things computer and technology related and the prices are good.
They have sales all the time so you may want to watch the newspaper and go when what you want is on sale.
All in all, the staff is good, the variety is huge, and the prices are decent. I wouldn't personally but a computer there but have purchased many peripherals and am very happy with them.
This is a review of the PHOTO PROCESSING CENTER within Ekerds. This listing was in the photo area.
You can take your film to be developed and wait for the photos. You drop off your film, shop a bit, and pick the pictures up in under an hour. Because they have a machine do the processing, the pictures aren't perfect. Some batches are all too dark, some too light. They don't adjust for every shot. They will, however, reprint a photo if you ask them to at no charge.
The prices are on par with drugstore developing. With photos going digital, they also have a machine to process digital memory cards into photos. Quality depends on the resolution the photo was taken at but usually you can get a nice shot from a digital camera developed at Ekerds.
I have been fairly pleased with their work or snapshots and have used their do it yourself machine for reprints of photos and enlargements, etc.. The quality is OK. The prices are cheap so if you just want a reprint or to develop a roll of simple film, this is a good place to go.
If you want photo restoration or good, sharp enlargements or better service, Industrial Color Labs bets this place hands down. However, for simple everyday photos, Ekerds is fine. You can get them fast and they look decent if you took them decently.
Digital photos will vary depending on the resolution yo set on your camera.
Reprints cane be cropped and lightened or darkened and zoomed in on to give you just what you want. I like that feature. They are cheap as well.
All in all, I am satisfied with the photo area. If I want something important developed or enlarged, I will go to Industrial but for everyday stuff, Ekerds has it all.
My husband is an amateur photographer and will not go anywhere else but to Industrial. They develop photos with an caring touch. Often they redo photos to make them brighter or darker or correct color for extra charge.
They are fast and reliable and their work is superior to any drugstore you will go to.
They develop photos from film and slides as well as digital services. They also make enlargements from slides, film or photos as well as make and enlarge photos from a photo card from a digital camera.
They sell some photo equipment there as well.
This is the place to go when you are taking more than ordinary snapshots. They will be sure you get a perfect photo every time.
My husband's work has been on calendars and in exhibits and every photo was developed by Industrial Color Labs.
The prices are not at all inflated either. While some drugstores may be cheaper, Industrial is quite wallet friendly and they don't gouge you for money because they can. This is an excellent photo developing place and I recommend it to anyone who cares about the quality of their photos and, especially, for enlargements that mean a lot to you. You'll get awesome quality at an affordable price very time.
I have lots of animals and have tried lots of vets to find a place I feel comfortable with and that I can afford.
DeWitt Animal hospital is good. The staff is caring, the hours are good, and the prices, while a bit steep, aren't out of this world.
The waiting room is pretty small but the wait is usually short. The treatment rooms are clean and neat. My animals always received good care there at prices that hurt a bit bit weren't as high as some vets I have been to.
I have now found my "ideal" vet in Cazenovia where I take all my animals but, while I was frequenting DeWitt Animal hospital, I had no complaints.
They do charge a bit more than some but veteranary care is expensive everywhere these days.
If you live in the DeWitt area and need a good vet, this is one to try.
Years ago I worked for this animal hospital. It is a good, caring place that caters to dogs and cats and other animals.
There is a fairly large staff and they treat the animals quite well, even out of sight of the owners (that can be a problem with some animal hospitalsl).
The prices are high, though. Care is expensive but it is good, quality care. The staff is knowledgable and organzised and the treatment rooms are always clean and in good shape.
They performs surgeries of all kinds as well as administer routine care.
This is a good animal hospital with higher prices than many in the area.
Still, if cost ins't a factor, you will be satisfied with the leveal of care you pet gets here.
This is a good hospital despite the way it looks from both the outside and inside.
When I first took my son to the emergency room there, I was shocked at the tiny waiting room and the cluttered hallways not to mention the tiny treatment rooms. However, they are very good with kids and knew just how to deal his situation.
Since then we have been there a number of times and the staff is very good. They seem to care a lot about the patients and have a lot f knowledge. I have really only had experience with the juvenile area of this hospital but have visited older folks in the hospital and none had any complaints.
The hospital is not beautiful or even very pretty in many areas but the care is what makes this one of the two locally I would go to if I needed treatment (the other being Crouse).
From the staff to the specialists, to the overall progressive equipment at University, it really is the best for kids in the area. For adults, it also seems to be one of the better hospitals and the level of care is quite good.
If I had to take a child to the ER, I would absolutely go to this one first. There is no competition there. For an adult, I would also not have any hesitation going here.
We have several hospitals in the area but the tough cases, the complex ones, the juvenile cases, and the most complicates all go to University and there is a reason for that. They have many excellent doctors on staff who specialize in complicated cases. If you need help or have a relative or friend who has something complex going on, University is your best bet locally.
It isn't beautiful like Community but it will give you the best care around.
I give this 4 stars bordering on 5. If they would renovate a bit and make the place more sightly, it would certainly go a long way toward making people feel confident. Still, don't worry abut the wallpaper, worry about the care and you'll get good care here.
Community General, located high atop a hill, is like a country club of hospitals. It is clean and very well maintained.
However, even though it looks much better than the hospitals in the city, complicated cases are almost never sent to Community. They are good for routine things but anything requiring a lot of specialty care is best left to the others in the area.
The rooms are nicer than the hospitals in the city and larger. They have a decent staff and everything is orderly.
Still, I wouldn't go here if I needed emergency treatment as I know from experience that they are best off for routine, uncomplicated procedures.
This is a fine hospital for people who want a little more luxury and a little more room etc. and who have routine, uncomplicated medical problems. I would not recommend Community though for very serious or complicated procedures. I have had family members transferred to one of the hospitals in the city (usually University) because their cases were too complex to be treated at Community.
Still, they have a large staff of good doctors and even the food is better there. So by all means, if you have something routine and your doctor gives you the choice, go there and get a little extra pampering.
But when push comes to shove and things are complex, stick to one of the city hospitals where the specialists seem to congregate.
I gave birth to both my sons at this hospital and all was fine.
I have been there many times for visits to others and have visited the emergency room myself and with other people.
This is decent hospital with a decent staff. Some parts are quite old and look run down but there rae other parts that are very new and progressive.
I would not hesitate to be treated at Crouse again if need be.
The doctors on call seem to be genuinely interested in your case if you got o the ER. The wait time, like all hospitals, can be long though.
The rooms are clean and simple and the care is average to above average.
This is certainly a better hospital then St. Joe's unless you are a heart patient (St. Joe's specializes in heart patients, I hear).
This is about on par with University Hospital as far as level of care and good doctors. It's all a matter of preference (University is better for kids although my son was in Crouse for five weeks when he was four years old and they were good there) and where your doctor practices.
I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Crouse for any procedures if my doctor was on staff there.
As far as the ER goes, they were very good when I took my son there several times and also when my father went there so all in all, this is a 4 star hospital. Not fantastic, but for what we have to choose from locally, it's better than a couple of the others.
I have had nothing but a terrible experience with this attorney.
He doesn't take phone calls nor does he return them. He promises that certain things will be done but then, when they aren't done as promised, he doesn't contact you to tell you why they are not done.
He says he is very busy and when you call, his secretary will SAY he is in court yet we have gone to his office right after calling and he has been in his office alone when we confronted him. I don't understand what this man is doing. He charges the usual fees and supposedly has a law degree but he isn't practicing law as far as I can tell. A simple task we hired him to do has taken more than four months and we are still no closer to settling things than when we started. He promised us it would take 10 days!
Take heed. This man doesn't care about you, your case, or your time. He may only care about big money cases but if so, he should not take the smaller cases at all. He ruinedd our summer as we were waiting for the situation to be cleared up so we could go away. It still isn't and summer is over and there is no end in sight. We may have to go to another lawyer and start all over again.
Beware. Do not call this man. There are many, many good attorneys locally and there is no reason why anyone should be treated and ignored the way we are. And get this -- he is supposed to be a friend!
Just think of how he will treat strangers.
Please, know that I don't rant about people much and I am very understanding but this guy is someone to avoid at all costs.
I wouldn't do business with him again if he were the last lawyer on earth. I mean that sincerely.
CONS: Ignores calls, doesn't return calls, doesn't do what he promises, terrible!
