Mission Theater & Pub

It is a great way to watch a movie for $ 3 and sit back while enjoying a great microbrew. The staff here is not the friendliest, but the beer and the cheap movie make up for it.

Everytime I go to this farmer's market I can bet on fresh produce, good music and great energy. It is always a pleasant experience and it should be a must for everyone who wants to support local farmers and eat well at great prices.

I love this place, I buy most of my concert tickets and underground hip hop records here. Great selection of them and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! It's conveniently located in China town but not in the best corner

Staccato Gelato

This is one of the best gelato shops in town! Friendly staff and in a great neighborhood! I had the pistcacchio and the mint chocolate chip gelato and both flavors were delicious! Would recommend it to anyone!

Satin & Latin Dance Studio

I took a salsa class here. The instructor was the owner of the studio and his companion was his wife, which wasn't the friendliest let's just put it this way. The instruction is more traditional. If you're looking to learn Cuban and more street style salsa this is not quite your place.

Julie Lawrence Yoga Center

I have been lucky to have taken a few three hour yoga classes from here and they have all been out this world. This studio is definitely pricey so if you're on a budget you might want to try a different studio. But if you're looking for a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere with very knowledgeable teachers this is the place for you.

Portland State Univ

I mean yes it is a big library, but I was suprised to take a class at PSU and find no copy of the book we used on reserve. Every college library has a better reserve system that this one...

The Perfume House

I love going to this place. I buy all my perfumes from here. Every time I go I bring a new girlfriend along and they are all mesmerized by it. The owner of the shop will fascinate you with his perfume stories, from hosting a Saudi prince to his Parisian perfume making tales. Love it!
