This is one of the chain haircut places where I think new hairstylists start out! They can do the basic wash, cut and blowdry but they're not super creative!
Kids cuts turn out well here and they're alot less than the fancy mall places!
Good selection of grass, delivery is easy to arrange and the employees are very helpful - can tell you what grass will work best, and how to achieve the best results.
Their webpage doesn't work now, which is a minus :(
Care Now is a good place to go if you don't have a family doctor - they can treat little stuff like the flu, etc. but I wouldn't go here if I had chest pain or anything broken (go to the ER!).
They offer web-checkin where you put your name on the list to see the doc and when they're ready for you, they'll call you at home, work, etc and you just motor on over...sure makes waiting alot nicer when you're doing it at home!
Decent prices and they accept most insurance - good place to take kids for school shots too!
I took my car here for an oil change and they were very quick - in and out within about 20 minutes.
They made some recommendations (change the air filter, etc) and showed me the existing part from my car and explained the benefits of that service.
They didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need (34,000 mile checkup) but reminded me of the maker's suggested checkups coming up!
PROS: Competitive pricing, good service!
I used to take all my cats here until once, the assistant was so rude to me, I decided to change vets. I took one of my 'wild cats' in and she was holding him (restrained) and I asked to pet him (because he doesn't let me do that at home) and she snapped at me 'if you pet him, he'll just get upset'. Hrmmmmm customer service?
Dr. Fuchshuber is gentle with the animals; however, he missed a cancer diagnosis on one of my cats (didn't change the outcome, just delayed the diagnosis) and treated him with steroids for 6 months to increase his appetite (thus masking the symptoms) without my knowledge!
On the other hand, one of my cats had ear mites and he took me back to the microscope so I could see them swimming around, which gave me a HUGE insight as to how annoying they are for my pets! That was a very nice touch.
PROS: Sporatic quality care
This is the place to go if you're looking for appliances for your dream kitchen! They have the latest in upscale refrigerators, stoves, ovens, etc - with the prices to match!
If you're a bargain shopper, you may find someting in the scratch and dent section; but it's not likely that it'll be a super steal, due to the high original prices.
Family owned and operated for years, it's an Arlington gem if you're looking for HGTV stuff!
PROS: upscale appliances
I have some small sewing jobs that I couldn't do myself, so I took them here and they were done perfectly!
Sometimes, it takes a few days to get your items back, but the prices are reasonable, and the service adequate.
Val sold me my house back in 1993 and I continue to refer customers to him. He's patient (probably showed me 50+ houses) and really listens to what the customer wants.
If you use him, tell him Lauren sent you...he remembers me, even from a one-deal sale 13 years ago! Awesome customer service!
I adopted a stray cat (her mom deposited her on my porch) and I was working with a cat rescue group to place her 3 sisters with other families.
I was referred to Dr. Diffily as a vet who assists with low-cost care for rescued strays, and he spayed my little 'Piglette" and even sent her home with a Winnie the Pooh band-aid over her boo-boo!
Good care and very reasonable prices!
I stopped in here, hoping for some awesome bakery-style cookies, so I bought a few different kinds.
I was amazed that these cookies were so tasteless, stale and underwhelming.
As I recall, they weren't inexpensive, but I've gotten much better cookies from the local grocery store bakery!
My advice - keep looking if you want high quality bakery cookies!
