I frequent this and other Walgreens almost weekly. Like Rite Aid, they run a monthly single check rebate program. The unique thing with Walgreens program is that you can take your rebate as a gift card. They give you a 10% premium for taking it this way. Also, by accepting the gift card, you can recharge it with each months rebates. It is faster and you don't have to wait for a check to be mailed. I have been doing these for a couple years now. I do run into out of stock issues often, but that is to be expected. Staff is uaully helpful and polite.
PROS: Items free after rebate, friendly staff
CONS: out of stock often
I frequent this and other Rite Aid stores at least monthly, usually weekly. They run a monthly Single Check Rebate program. There is always a few items that are free after the rebate.
They have been out of product on numerous occassions. And I have found this particular store does not have the "brightest stars in the sky" working there.
I have used the pharmacy with no problem.
PROS: Free Items, Worth The Trip
CONS: Frequently out of stock....Unhelpful staff
I love to go to Oakridge with my $1 coupons. Although some stuff is priced higher than the chain grocers, with the doubled $1 coupons, it ends up cheaper. I prefer to buy my cleaners and the like here.
The hand-off for these savings is choice. Oakridge does not usually get "New" items in for a few months, and I have found expired product on numerous occassions (namely baby items). It is a smaller store, so the choice can be limited, but fair. I have bought food items at times. Although never used their meat counter. Staff is helpful and polite.
PROS: Awesome Double $1 coupons
CONS: limited choice, some expired product
The store is always clean. Staff is nice, visible and helpful. Product is usually in stock. Very rarely have any lines to wait in at register. Prices are competitive.
It seems like the store has gotten cleaner since the buyout. Although it also seems like the store is emptier, product-wise.
Quite often host little promo events....radio station in parking lot, Vendor distributing samples, etc.
PROS: Active Promos, good prices, helpful staff
CONS: recently seem to have less product choices
I frequent this Target quite a bit. It is usually clean and well staffed. Never seen horrendous long lines, even at holidays. Product is almost always in stock, and can easily find staff to assist with questions. I've encountered a few ignorant customer service, but mostly they are great.
(The worst experience was a girl that insisted I walk to the back of the store 8m pregnant to retrieve a tag to return defective maternity clothes!)
PROS: Good Prices, mostly helpful staff
CONS: BAD return policy, some ignorant staff
With a Lowe's and Home Depot very near our house, we are always frequenting both stores. We've even had a few large deliveries. Lowe's continuously provides great customer service, very rarely has lengthy return lines. Customer service has been helpful enough that I've only involved management a few times for "approval" type issues. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and most important....easy to find!
PROS: Great Customer Service, Great Prices
CONS: occassionally been out of common product
As a Home Depot store, they have the same great pricing. But I find this store lacks in customer service. The return line is generally 10+ people long, and only 1 sometimes 2 employees working. We have ordered custom kitchen cabinets and got them in wrong. Had a great deal of trouble having that corrected. Had numerous deliveries, which seem to be ok. About 50% of the time it can be difficult to locate an employee to help in the departments.
Upon getting management involved with problems, they have generally been able to satisfy my complaints, tho not always been an easy fight.
PROS: Good Prices, ok management
CONS: poor customer service
I have rented U-Haul trucks as well as used their propane center numerous times. I've never had to wait in line and always been greeted by polite sales staff. They are knowledgeable and helpful. The propane man always loads my full tank into my car for me! :)
The showroom and lot are always clean. Prices are competitive.
PROS: Superb staff and pricing
CONS: none !
I have leased 2 vehicles from Somerset Pontiac. My first salesman was not very helpful and unable to provide some conveniences I requested. For example, I work full time on opposite shift from hubby and we have 2 kids. To make things easier for me as the customer, I asked for my salesman to draw up the necessary paperwork and fax for my completion, therefore spending less time in the dealership. He confirmed that he would be able to do this and proceeded to fail, causing me to spend more time that I could afford there. Upon complaining, management quickly addressed my concerns and handled my 2nd lease, 2.5 years later, well. I suppose it depends on the salesman you get, but all in all this was a reputable dealership I would send friends and family to.
PROS: Competitive Promos, Good Management
CONS: Some salespersons are only so-so
We recently had an addition built onto our home by Cashway. We are very pleased with the finished product. There were some minor bumps along the way. At certain points we felt like this was their first job. Some things had to be redone as much as 4 times to get approval from city inspector. But they quickly made the required changes each time. Workers were friendly. Although I must comment on their language. They were speaking about "questionable subjects" while working. I have 2 children who happened to be sleeping, but would not have been happy had they heard the worker's conversation. I did clean up a bit of ciggarette butts and nails from my yard after they left as well.
They could have been more tidy, and tighter-lipped, but overall I am quite pleased with Cashway. As far as construction workes go, I've seen worse language and sloppiness.
Their pricing was competitive and I would reccommend them to my friends.
PROS: Good Pricing, Good Finished Product
CONS: Could have been cleaner & have better language around children
