7-Eleven
This Parkville 7 Eleven is the perfect place to get a much needed drink or a gallon of milk. Situated conviently near Parkville High School and a number of other local businesses, it is located in the perfect place. This area is densely populated, so placing a 7 Eleven here was perfect. Not only is it clean and well-kept, but the service is friendly.
South Moon Under
I used to love South Moon Under for their unique jewelry, but that was a long time ago. The last time I visited this store, the jewelry selection was not that good, and what they did have was not very appealing to me. The jewelry was rather gaudy, and the overrall presentation of the store had gone way downhill from what I remembered years ago.
Forever 21
I can give this store credit for carrying unique products and cute clothes, but the fact that all items are non-returnable is a problem for me. The fact that all items of clothing are super small is one negative, and it's also disheartening that the store makes no attempt to accommodate those of us who are not super skinny. Also, the no return policy has kept me from shopping at this particular store.
Jerry D's Restaurant & Tavern
My only experience at Jerry D's Restaurant was not a good one, unfortunately. The servers rushed you through your meal, and the restaurant was located in a hard to get to location. In addition, the crab cake I ordered was filled with shells, and I have not returned to the restaurant since. They probably have some good dishes, and the restaurant atmosphere was nice, but my particular experience left a funny taste in my mouth.
Valley View Farms
Valley View Farms is a wonderful nursery packed full of all different types of flowers. There, you can find items you cannot find anywhere else. Their Christmas display is outstanding and probably one of the best in this area. However, their prices are a bit high, and I do not buy from them as a general rule, unless I find something really special that I can't live without.
Baltimore County Savings Bank
I have dealt at Baltimore County Savings Bank for several years, and I have never been disapointed by their courteous and great service. I tried several other banks before this one, and none of them are as good or as customer-oriented as this one. I give them a ten for excellence!
Maria's Ridgely Ave Restaurant
Maria's is a nice community restaurant, tucked into the basement of a hair studio. I have eaten there a few times, and each time, the service was good, and the staff was willing to help you with any questions you might have. Overrall, it's a nice little place.
Nordstrom
Though I love Nordstrom products, I cannot say that their Towson store is very organized. At the times I've been there, products are hung on racks in the wrong areas of the store. I cannot say that customer service is up to par as I specially ordered a pair of shoes that apparently never came in, and Nordstrom never called me to notify me of this change. Perhaps the store's best assett is that is located in the heart of Towson's commercial district at Towsontown Mall.
Target
Target has just about everything you could possibly need. I love this one especially because of its close proximity to White Marsh Mall and the Avenue at White Marsh. The aisles in this store are laid out neatly, and all products are easy to find. The best part about Target is their low prices. When compared to other department stores, Target offers products at a fraction of the cost, and seasonal items are always displayed on racks that can be easily seen. I think it's especially great that Target has chosen to sell some Diamonique jewelry, the brand sold by QVC. Overrall, this is a great store in a great location.
