I am so happy this is where we ended up getting married. I say ended up, since we lost our initial wedding site to El Nino in 1998. Dove Canyon happened to be available the day that we had planned, and everything worked out perfectly. The wedding options were great. They have various price ranges, and all include delicious food and great service. You can get get married here, as we did outside, or just hold your reception here. We were able to get gorgeous pictures by the waterfalls in front of the golfcourse. Dove Canyon staff and wedding coordinator truly this made this a memorable day.
This sweet location offers a lot. They are located next to the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. They have a chapel available, and are able to accommodate a moderate wedding size. They have several wedding packages to choose from, and include the cake and flowers in your package so you have a few less things to plan!
This is a cute store if you like the idea of creating your own, unique animal. They have lots of different animals in various price ranges. They offer a lot of accessories to choose from, sound effects, and each animal comes with a birth certificate and a box to decorate. They offer birthday packages, but the kids have less time to choose under time constraints.
This is one of the few theatres in Orange County where you can find the small, independent movies being shown. That makes it a very desirable location for certain movies goers. Unfortunately, the parking lot is atrocious, and I have had to forgo movies sometimes, because no parking could be found. This is not stadium seating, so you dont always get the best view either. But without this theatre, most of us would have to wait until these movies came out rental to see them.
I really like that this theatre offers new, art film kind of movies. You used to have to drive to Costa Mesa for these movies, but now you can stay a bit closer to home and see the same movies. The parking is good, and this is a nice, clean theatre.
I really enjoying seeing movies here. They offer all sorts of movies all of the time, including some of the smaller, artsier movies. AMC has kind of lost its stellar repuation lately, but this one is an assett. Lines move pretty quickly as they have alot of windows open, and parking is not usually a problem in the daytime. Nighttime can be a problem though, since the Block is a popular hangout for teens at night.
This movie theatre is probably one of the most popular in all of south Orange County due to its location. Its located in the Irvine Spectrum, and get a lot of tourists as well as locals to visit. It is of course, stadium seating, so there's not a bad seat to be had. The downside is, if you dont like getting to the movies 30-40 minutes early, you might run into problems. There are often long lines to get in, and concession lines arent pretty either. If you do get there early, the picture and sound are excellent, and the movie experience is usually a good one.
Thank goodness for this theatre. This theatre has saved me a lot of money I used to spend on gas driving to Los Angeles. They have a beautiful theatre, with marvelous acoustics. The shows are always stunning, and they offer multiple packages depending on your interests (ballet, musicals). The location is easy to get to from the freeways.
This bookstore takes up a nice sized area. They are pretty much the only store on the upper level of the mall, besides the food court. Selection is decent, but prices dont match what you can get at other, larger chains. They offer some booths to sit in and browse, but the seats are bit beat up, and cushions have come off and fallen down on the floor while we were using them.
I wish I still lived around the corner from this bookstore. They are a huge used bookstore, with every genre you could be looking for. I really like how this store is organized, and how helpful the employees have always been. They will buy your used books directly from you as well, and give you cash or credit.
