This is going to sound cheesy, but Mr. Jewell, the Physician's assistant here, changed my life. The head Dr., whose name I cannot remember right now, was also very nice, but I felt he was just a tad less personable.
Mr. Jewell talked with me about what medications I had already tried, and which medications I would like to try. He ended up prescribing me a medication which has a possibility for serious side affects, but he was VERY thorough in making sure I took all necessary precautions, and had the necessary blood tests each month.
I would highly recommend Diablo Dermatology to any person looking to find a dermatologist.
This Tiffany's, in Valley Fair, although small, is very nice. The sales associates were very kind to me. Although I am young, they did not ignore me like another store had. I came in, was promptly helped, and was on my way pretty quickly. On this particular day I was having trouble deciding between a couple of pieces, but the gentleman who helped me was not rude nor did he act "burdened" by my presence, but was very patient and kind.
This particular Tiffany's, near Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, I have not had good experiences with. When I went in to buy a gift, they were not very assertive, and did not pay much attention to me. I had to ask someone to show me the pieces I wanted to see, when the representatives had not been helping other customers, but chatting among themselves.
Another time, when i went in to pick up something which had been engraved, it had been done backwads, and they had not caught the mistake. I had to make the drive to Walnut Creek again a week or so later, and they did not even follow up on the discount/refund they had promised me.
I am most familiar with the car audio department of this Best Buy. They installed my cd player into the trunk of my VW, after it had been installed incorrectly. They are reasonably priced, but make sure you call ahead! I tried to drop in a couple of times, and they haven't been able to squeeze me in yet.
Oil Can Henry's is a good place to get your oil changed. They cost similar to most, about $30.00. They offer you a free newspaper to read while you sit in your car - they do the whole procedure right under you. They also offer the deal where if any of your fluids are low between oil changes, they will top you off for free.
Lucys nails is conveniently located, by Butterfly Life and Walgreens. They offer good services, but are sly with their pricing. If you get your nails or toes painted, and want french tips, for examples, it may seem cheap, but they charge you a lot for the simple french tip. A manicure that you thought would be $15, will actually be $23, after french tip and then a $3 tip for your manicurist.
Harvest Park Bowl is a great place for a fun night out. They have a lot of lanes, so you don't usually have to wait very long. Since they have remodelled, it is very nice inside. They often have fun music and such at night, which is great for a close place for kids to have fun. Their food is a bit greasy and expensive, so I would eat before. They also have great birthday packages for kids. you can rent a room for them to eat, open presents and have cake, and then set them loose on the pins!
Chevron is typically very expensive as far as gas goes. My family lives right around the corner from this gas station, but we hardly ever fill up here. We will grab sodas or ice here on occasion, but the only reason we would fill up here is to get the discounted car wash.
I can rely on Quik Stop to have the cheapest gas around. They only have four pumps, but I almost never have to wait for a pump. They have a good little market to, if you need to make any late night stops.
My friends and i base high and low gas prices off of the low being Quik Stop, and the high being Chevron.
Monkey Wrenches was actually recommended to me by a friend, and my family ended up taking three cars there in the course of three months. Each car had to go back to be looked at again. Two of the cars immediately had the same problem. Both were fixed at other locations. One had the simple problem of a loose wire that Monkey Wrenches was unable to locate. The third car made a drive down to San Diego, safely, but then had to be serviced - for the same problem we took it to Monkey Wrenches for.
I wish I had the same review to pass on as my friend did to me, but I would not recommend monkey wrench at all.
