Panama Bay is a great coffee spot. They have great coffee and blended drinks. Their chai has a very distinct taste, and is the only drink I have tried there that I did not enjoy. They always have a selection of magazines and newspapers available for you to read while you relax in one of their nice big comfy chairs.
This Surf Shop seems appealing from the outside, but once I went inside, I was not impresed. Their selection of clothing and bathing suits is not kept very current. They offer good deals on tanning beds, but their quality as a surf supplier is minimal.
Chili's in general has great food. Their environment is louder than most, but still enjoyable. This one in particular is the only one in this area, so it is almost always busy. The only times I haven't had a wait of ten minutes or more are times that I was able to sit down in the bar area. The waiters and waitresses is are usually very nice and attentive. My only compaint is that the hosts/hostesses are usually very young, it seems they always have new ones filtering in, and they always seem a little flustered.
This Cingular location is small, and they don't have many accesories on display. They usually have two to three people working though, and there aren't typically many people there.
This Barnes and Noble is very large and offers a great selection of books and music. They have a few comfy lounge chairs to read, but most of their seating is in the cafe. It is true that their Starbucks drinks do not always taste the same, or even similarly to a drink made at a Starbucks only location. They have plenty of parking.
Pump it up is great for kids' birthday parties. They have inflated mazes and flat platforms just for jumping. They are very sanitary, and usually have great customer service.
Club One is a beautiful gym! They have many different services on top of their excellent exercise equipment. Their cycling and yoga classes are great, as I am sure all of their other classes are. They have a dry and wet sauna in each of the locker rooms, and the lockers in their locker rooms do not require a key or lock, only a four digit code you can change each time you go, if you want. They have multiple plasma tv's, each of which can be on a different station.
The only downfall is that they are very expensive compared to other gyms in the area, and they only accept payment via online payment. My understanding is that you must provide them with a checking or credit card which they automatically debit each month.
Brentwood Veterinary Hospital is a great place to take your pets. They love and care for our animals as much as we do. They are not excpetionally low priced, but compared to others in the area, they are worth it.
Boards N More is a decent sized skate shop in Brentwood. They have clothing, swimsuits, shoes, and skate equipment. They also offer tanning services. Their service is satisfactory. They never seem crowded, there is usually just a trickle of people.
Dr. Alkhoury and his dental assistants are a great team. You don't feel rushed, and they book your next appointment while you are there. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable. Dr. Alkhoury's paintings adorn the walls, and it is a very comfortable atmosphere.
