Black Diamond Gymnastics is a very impressive business. They offer Gymnastics for all ages. For the youngest gymnasts, they offer classes in which parents are also involved. These classes usually have convenient evening times so parents don't have to rush to be on time. They have two suites in their building, one for the older kids, who don't need parental assistance, and one for those who do. Classes are taught by teachers high school age and up.
I have only had experience with Delta Fence in the realm of temporary fencing. I have never used their services to build a permanent fence. However, if you are ever in need of temporary chain-link fencing, Delta Fence will meet your needs. Their prices are similar to any others. When they come to tear down your fences, they will often give you a time very early in the morning, so make sure it won't be a late night the night before!
La Costa is a quick and easy Mexican Restaurant. They have a variety of choices, including great chicken, beef, and even fish dishes. All of their burritos are inexpensive, and always huge. You will definitely get your money's worth here. They have outdoor seating which is open air, but covered with a sturdy awning. They also have indoor seating and a couple of video games.
This Baskin Robbins is a smaller location, but has an enjoyble, relaxed atmosphere. They are usually pretty quick, so even if there is a steady flow of patrons, you can usually get in and out if you like. They also have seatin inside, so you can enjoy your ice cream there. They have great ice cream cakes.
This Starbucks is conveniently located near Ross, Raley's, TJ Maxx, and Quizno's, as well as other restaurants and a few other specialty stores. They are right on the Highway 4 Bypass, so they are a hot spot for commuters in the morning.
PROS: Plenty of parking - in front and back
CONS: Often crowded in mornings and later afternoons (after school)
Previously known as Willy's Bagels & Blends, this is a great bagel and coffee shop. They have unique bagels and shmears, and excellent coffee drinks and smoothies. They have plenty of parking, and a few indoor seats, but plenty of outdoor seats. This is close to Liberty High, so they are quite busy before school on weekdays, and after school, anywhere from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. or so.
Be sure to try their marinara bagel, toasted, with jack cheese!
The Oasis Day Spa is an amazing full service spa and salon. They offer massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, a full salon (cutting/coloring) and a myriad of other body treatments. Their atmosphere is very relaxing and pampering, and you always walk out of there smelling and feeling great. All of their practitioners are well-trained, but most importantly very kind and they will do whatever it takes to ensure you have an amazing spa experience. You should be prepared to book a couple of weeks in advance, especially for their evening and weekend appointments, but the receptionists are very willing to work with you to fit you in quickly if at all possible. They carry Aveda products, as well as alternate lines, and offer gift sets as well as gift certificates. They have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you call, make sure to ask about their Day Pass.
PROS: So close - the best in this area
This location is out of the way for most people who aren't local, so it's rarely busy. The parking lot is small, but never gets full. The store hasn't been remodeled in quite some time, but they still have fresh food at reasonable costs. It's not open very late, so if you have any late night cravings, your best bet is the Vons or 7 Eleven down the road a ways.
This is your average bowling alley. They don't allow smoking it, so the bad stench is from the used shoes and alcohol instead. They have about 35 lanes, so it's usually easy to get in without a wait. They have an arcade with overpriced games. The cost to bowl is reasonable. The workers are fairly apathetic. The area is not the most comforting part of town, but it's not too bad. They have plenty of parking, but not a very well lit lot at night. This isn't the most pleasant atmosphere, but if you have the need to bowl, it's a good option.
This is a typical nail place. The prices are pretty cheap. They offer a great deal on a manicure and pedicure combo (only $17). They also do special treatments and waxings. The workers seem to talk more to each other (in a different language) than they do to the customers, but that seems common. The job they did on my nails was worth what I paid for it. Nothing exceptional, but at least they didn't make me bleed, which has happened before.
