Located close to downtown. Parking on two sides of building.
They sell all kinds of things not just furniture. Everything is used. Lawn mowers, bikes, dishes, nick nacks and other "stuff". The store is very full of things, makes it hard to see everything or get around. Not wheel chair friendly. Everything is very over priced also. Sometime I see something at a decent price, but don't go very often.
Located in downtown. Lots of parking and close to other shopping places. We take all of your dry clean only things here. Most of the time we can pick up the next day, depends on how busy they are. Also take our winter coats here to be cleaned twice a year. They will also do alerations, replace zippers, and re-sole shoes. There is also a place where you can do your regular laundry if needed. Have cion machines there.
Located on the edge of town on Hwy 24. Gas is priced about the same as everywhere else in town. They will pump the gas for you. Good with kids in car, so you don't have to get everyone out. Best prices on cigarettes. Also have anything else you might need in the way of drinks or snacks.
There is also a car wash. One automatic and 4 you wash yourself. Large trash cans for cleaning out the car, and super sucking vaccums.
On the main road through town. They only do things with tires. Sell new and used, both are reasonably priced. But the used are alot cheaper. No appoinmets are needed. Also has new and used rims. Will change everything while you wait. Doesn't charge a extra fee for rotateing the tire, if you are having something done anyways. Open on Saturdays, and sometimes works late during the week.
Located right of Hwy 24. Family owned and operated busniess. He workd with his dad learning the trade for years before opening his own shop. Very good about fixing things soon, and gets most things done within a few hours.
Doesn't charge a high hourly labor fee , and the real price of parts. Really good at being able to give you an idea of the problem just by hearing how it is acting.
They have a really fun summer day care programs for kids. They use a building out at the park. Everyday they have some kind of fun outing. Like bowling, fishing, or swimming.
They walk around the park to the public swimming pool. It is a bit of a walk though for small ones. But they seem to enjoy it because they are going to the pool. Fishing supplies are provided. Kids take their own sack lunch from home. They provide two snacks.
A ways out of town, but right off the Hwy. You need to set up and appoimtment to go through things. Because they are not open all of the time. Have all sorts of family records, taken from church records. They have all kinds of different forms you can fill out to organize your family tree. Very helpfull and will help you find what you are looking for. Will also order the books you need if they don't have them
We have never attended services here. But ladies from here stop by our house sometimes to visit, talk about their church and what they belive. Eldery ladys, very friendly, and do not pressure us to attend. Also every two weeks they drop a packet of informational books/magiznes for us to read.
We have told them we are not interrested in their beliefs. but they continue to come here. But since they are nice and respectful we haven't pressed the issue harder.
They do have a nice building, located off the highway.
This is a really nice church. Just built a new building within the last few year. The old building is next door, they use it for the childrens church. They have three services on Sunday. Have a nursery for babies and toddlers, but children can also stay with you. There is a room with sould and a glass window also. Here you can stay with babies to take care of them. But still hear and see what is happening.
They have busses that will picl you up and take you home.
They also sponser a food bank once a month on the last Thuresday.
Very easy to get to, very small parking area due to all the cars for rent. Could not recommend to family or friends. Because their prices are out of this word. They wanted 3 times the amount of places in Columbia. It is defintly worth the extra drive. Even if you have to have the car extra day to return after a late trip home. They where nice and knew the prices where high, even said we could get a better price by getting a rental out of town.
CONS: Very High Prices
