We love this veterinarian/ animal hospital. They are open for full service...and emergency services twenty four hours a day/ seven days a week. It is great because we can scedule routine care around our schedule. They are very high tech and can do almost any kind of care or surgery for your loved pet. They really seem to care about the animals and are very friendly to people to. I beleive that they don't accept all types of animals...maybe just cats and dogs.
This museum was kind of a disapointment to us. They are not a very large museum and do not usually have a large collection of art to view...espeically for the price you pay. If you decide to go, then do it on a Tuesday morning when it is only a dollar to get in. I guess it depends on that type of work they are showing. I last viewing I went to was when I went to the Andy Warhol exbit there a few years back. The work was nice, but I expected there to be more to view. I guess after having been in the San Fran Museum of Modern art I am spoiled. They have a small gift museum to buy soveniers.
Titan Moving was a lifesaver for us. We have a very busy schedule juggling our work schedules around our active lifestyle. We really hate the whole process of moving...the packing, loading, unloading, un-packing. We were moving across town and just did not want to deal with it ourselves...so we paid someone to do it for us! They came in and packed up our house, loaded the truck, delivered it to our new residence, unloaded our stuff and then unpacked it and left it in the desinated rooms. All we had to do was put everything where we wanted it...and pay the bill. It was costly, but it was worth it for us!
About a year ago our car was broken into and the glass for one of our windows was completly shattered. It was really bad and pieces of broken shards were all down in between the door where the window goes. We called around and some places were pretty pricey to just replace the window, but ACE ended up having the best price and they were very friendly. I took the car there and they fixed the glass right there on the spot for me. While I was there I looked around and found a huge mirror that I decided I needed for my living room wall. Prices are great, they carry glass for almost everything you could need it for...and customer services is great.
My husband and I love this store. They have the best selection of really well crafted furniture...and it is all raw and unfinished. This is great because you can stain it or paint it any shade or design your heart pleases. All the furniture we have purchased from here has held up really well. We bought an awesome bunkbed from here for our girls and it is super sturdy and will last for many years. Prices for some stuff is a little high considering that they are unfinished, but the craftmenship is great.
If you are a person who prefers a more contemporary look for you furniture and interior design, then this is your shop. We love the furniture they have, and have purchased several piecse from there for our house. My favorite is the stylish contemporary red velvetly couch. Prices are pretty high, but styles are unique and they have a good selction of both living room, dining room, and kitchen furniture...as well as very nice accessories to go with the decor.
I have used this florist for many years now and it is one of my favorites in Austin. They have such beautiful flower arrangments and so many options. They offer a discount if you walk (cash and carry), but prices are not too bad for delivery. They also will deliver on short notice sometimes if you call and ask. They carry several beautiful exotic flowers, as well as blooming plants, balloon bouquets, and specialty non flower baskets.
It can be hard to find a shop around town that carries a good stock of upholstery fabrics. I recently discovered this fabric shop and I am completly won over and will be a repeat customer again and again. They have row after row of rich, beautiful upholestery fabrics in all textures, colors, and richness. The lady that assisted me was so helpful and prices were not as high as I expected considering the materials.
I go to Oak Hill Eye Care for all my eye services and needs. They are super friendly and rather upscale. The office is clean and inviting. The eye doctors are very gental and professional. I have an astigmatism and have to have special contacts. They were able to inform me off all my options and helped guide me through my decision. They also carry really trendy eye glasses frames!
We used this service to throw and all out big birthday party one year for one of our little girls. We had a clown that came and performed for the kids, a magician and they brought a bunch of balloons to twist up into balloon creatures for the little kids. The kids were awe struck and were completely won over by their performances. They were good with the kids, although we paid a pretty good penny for the party.
