My children absolutely love going to Moultons Skate America! They have great children's birthday party options as well that are average price for what they include. They provide everything you need to have an enjoyable time. The rates are pretty reasonable for admission and on Wednesday nights they have reduced rates. The hours they are open are very convenient. A lot of times during peak hours it is very crowded though.
The Chippewa Valley Museum is very unique and educational! They offer a wide variety of interesting exhibits that are sure to interest people of all ages. They have a great dollhouse which around Christmas time they decorate for the holidays. They also have an Ice Cream Parlor on site where you can order old-fashioned ice cream sodas. Admission is $4.00 for adults which is very reasonable plus they do give a discount if you have a AAA card.
The Paul Bunyan Logging Camp in Eau Claire is a great history learning experience. It is set up like an actual logging camp with a bunk house, cook shanty, barn, etc. It is much easier to experience what life was like when it is all set up like this versus looking at pictures. There is also a museum like area that has videos and more information. Great for children and adults of all ages. Lots to look at so it will hold even the youngest one's attention!
The Children's Museum of Eau Claire is very comparble to other children's museums throughout the state. They have a lot of great hands-on activities for children of all ages that are sure to grab and hold their attention. Lots of interaction which is what young children need. The admission fee is very reasonable for the amount of things there are to do!
Bowlbys Candies has been around for as long as I can remember and there is a very good reason for this! Their candies are some of the best candies that I have ever had! Their chocolates are excellent and are always fresh. they have a huge selection and it is hard to settle on just a few things. Their prices are good for the quality of the candies that you receive. They are very conveniently located right on College Avenue and parking is very easy!
The Fox Cities Children's Museum will provide hours of education and fun for your child. I have an 18 month old and thought that he may be too young for it but I was wrong! He absolutely loved it and after 4 hours there he STILL did not want to leave! There are so many hands-on activities that they will not get bored. The admission is reasonable and they do offer a yearly plan as well.
