Cellophane Square

Seattle, WA CDs / Record Stores 07/19/05: 'great place for used CDs'

I think they have new CDs, but my main interest in them is their very extensive used CD collection. Last I checked, most CDs were around 6-8 dollars, which is pretty reasonable.

Tower Records Video Books

This place has a pretty good selection, and once in a while they have a bunch of good things on sale, but it's normal sale records aren't even very cheap.

Owl Talk

I only went here once when I was in Los Angeles, but I just remember being overwhelmed with a ton of cute clothes and accessories. Some of it was kind of pricey, but they had lots of one-of-a-kind items. They have vintage dresses with beautiful fabrics and a ton of intricate earrings that my friend buys.

Gene Juarez Salon

Seattle, WA Beauty Salons 07/19/05: 'expensive haircut'

When I was in seventh grade I finally decided to get an expensive haircut, and so I came here and spent a whole lot of money on a haircut that was basically a puffy bob that they didn't tell me how to maintain.

Kinko's

Seattle, WA Copying & Duplicating Service 07/19/05: 'lots of services'

Kinko's is nice because you can get almost anything done there in the printing realm. However, once I tried to get a poster laminated, and it was going to be about 15 dollars, which seemed ridiculous. I do like that you can mail things (and have them be postmarked that day) until midnight.

Moss Alley Motors Inc

As far as I can tell...My dad has been taking me and my car here for years. They seem to have much lower estimates than many other places we've gone to, and they work well with my testy old volvo.

Rxtra Care

Seattle, WA Pharmacies 07/19/05: 'a chain?'

I only know the one in wallingford, and mostly back when it was Briggs Pharmacy, but it doesn't seem to have changed much. A good selection of cheap pharmacy and health items, along with a healthy dose of beanie babies.

Uwajimaya Inc

This place is amazing. It's a little more expensive than some of the other Asian groceries around this area, but their selection is unmatchable! Cheap deli section, also. They have a whole aisle practically for soy sauce, one for noodles, and a great variety of hard-to-find produce.

City People's

This place has a ton of, and wide variety of, plants and plant-related products. They also have a nice selection of lotions, soaps, gift cards and other good retail merchandise. A little pricey, but nice atmosphere.

Precision Tune

I went to get a oil change at Walt's auto place, because I had a coupon. I went into what I thought was Walt's, said I'd like an oil change and put my coupon on the counter. It was only after he had rung me up that he said that the coupon was for Walt's. They are practically in the same building!
