As an adult returning to college, Chattahoochee Tech gave me the smaller setting and the one-on-one attention I needed. The parking areas are well lit and right beside the school, which helps if you're hesitant about walking through a big parking lot alone at night. Class size is small, so you're able to ask questions without feeling as if you're causing a problem.
PROS: Small class sizes, small campus, comfortable feel.
CONS: Might not have the 'WOW' effect of some larger schools.
QuikTrip on Hwy 92 is always a pleasure. The store is clean, the bathrooms are ALWAYS clean, and the drink station is excellent with everything from specialty coffee drinks to freshly blended milkshakes...and we can't forget the potential for a good 'suicide' at the oversized fountain station. And, yes, they have the 'good ice'. A great place to make a pit stop with the kids.
PROS: Clean bathrooms, lots of great drink options for everyone.
CONS: This place is packed, and with good reason.
Yankee Candles are untouchable, when it comes to scenting your home. The different fragrances are so enticing that you're better off to start with a votive sampler pack to try your favorites. The tart warmers are also a fun way to scent an area and can be broken in half and mixed to created your own personal fusion. Tip: To change tarts, chill (unlit) warmer in the freezer for about 5 minutes and the tart will pop right out.
PROS: Amazing fragrance, wonderful variety. Great gift for just about anyone.
CONS: Jar candles can be a bit expensive, so start small and work up.
This is the best Panda Express restaurant I've ever been in. The place is absolutely spotless. The hot and sour soup is fabulous, egg rolls are light and flaky, and every entree I've tried has been wonderful.
PROS: Delicious food in a spotless facility prepared by a friendly staff.
CONS: If you get there too close to closing time, your selections may be limited.
The drinks here have a fabulous coffee flavor that outshines all the other add ins and add ons. The drive thru has a groovy, village feel with pics of the regulars' pups adorning the sliding window. Very cool coffee shop less than a mile from GA 400.
PROS: Employees are laid back and helpful.
CONS: Drive thru gets backed up in the am...give yourself time to wait.
