My husband and I booked a cruise through this agency in 2006.
We had used this agency one time before with NO problems.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the cruise due to an accident.
When attempting to get assistance with the claim procedures,
we encountered a rude, arrogant and uncaring male agent.
We were NOT treated as valued customers by the agent.
We will not go into all the particulars of this incident.
However we DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend this travel agency.
A rating of one "star" is too much.

Clifford M Ables III PA

Ables & Ritenour PA is conveniently located in downtown Sebring near the Courthouse.
I used their services recently to close on a home I purchased for my parents. The office personnel were friendly and helpful during the sales process. The closing went smoothly and I was satisfied with the professionalism and courtesy I received at Ables & Ritenour PA.

Cohan Radio Group Inc

The Cohan Radio Group has it's offices in the Fairmont Cinema Square on Highway 27 North in Sebring, Florida.
I have visited their offices on numerous occasions and found the staff to be friendly, community oriented and professional.
I listen to two of their stations on a regular basis.
In the morning I awake to 105.7 FM Lite. This station plays
a variety of music focusing on many of the pop hits of today.
Their morning host, Dave, is a favorite because of his fun personality.
Later in the day, I listen to Rooter Rush on 1340 AM when he does his "Shopper" and Dial-A-Deal" shows. The "Shopper" is a half hour program that allows the audience to call in and advertise up to three items for sale. It's a great way to try to sell those items you have lying around. And it's FREE. And, you can call every day until you sell your items. It's great.
Oh, if you have something to "giveaway", here's the place to do it too!
"Dial-A-Deal" comes next. This half hour is the opportunity to call in for discount dining and shopping certificates. Many of the community retailers advertise on this show and offer the certificates to encourage new patrons. You can get a $10 certificate for $5 and save yourself five bucks on your visit to the sponsor. I have enjoyed many of the local restaurants by using these certificates. But, you have to be FAST on the phone. Certificates are sold on a "first call, first served" basis! So, listen in from 9 AM, Monday through Friday, for
the "Shopper" and "Dial-A-Deal." Oh, tell Router I said "Hi."

Paws And Perches Animal Hospital

Swango Animal Hospital is conveniently located a
block off of Highway 27 North in Lake Wales, Florida.
I visited this office recently with my lovebird, Andrew.
I was given an appointment even though Dr. Swango was "overbooked." The receptionist was understanding
of my pet's illness and wanted to make sure he was seen
by the doctor as soon as possible. Upon arrival at the
hospital, my pet and I were treated to professional and
caring service. My questions were answered and Dr.
Swango patiently addressed all of my concerns. Andrew
is much better now and will be seen by Dr. Swango in the
future for preventative care. I thank this office and their caring personnel for the kindness and professionalism shown to me and my beloved pet.

Highlands Hair Salon

I have passed Highlands Hair Salon on numerous occasions and always wondered what kind of service and
haircut could be received there. Just recently, while sitting in the Taco Bell restaurant which is across the street, my husband mentioned that he wanted a haircut. His
hair was getting a bit unruly and he wanted it cut. After
we finished our meal, we went across to the salon. My husband was offered a shampoo and cut immediately.
Well, we were in and out of the salon in less than thirty minutes! But, my husband received one of the best cuts he ever had. The woman who cut and styled his hair was quick, friendly and, most importantly, skilled in cutting men's hair.
My husband now has a regular stylist to visit whenever he needs a trim. We were both very pleased with the fast and efficient service received at Highlands Hair Salon.

Sebring Ford Lincoln Mercury

I've never purchased a car at Sebring Ford. Not yet.
But, having experienced their courtesy and professional when I had my truck detailed, I'm inclined to go back for
ALL my automotive needs.
The service personnel who signed me in for my detailing service were knowledgeable and friendly. My truck was returned to me when promised and in "tip top" shape. My complete detail package included a thorough wash, inside and out, vacuuming, and wax. I will return to have my truck cleaned and detailed in the future. AND, when the time comes, I will shop for my new vehicle at Sebring Ford.

PROS: Timely and professional service. Friendly personnel.

Royal's Furniture

A friend just purchased several rooms of furniture from Royals Furniture. I had accompanied her to many different stores until she found just the perfect furniture and accessories for her new home.

I was amazed at the quality furnishings they offer.
Also, the sales people were professional and interested in providing assistance. I will shop at this store when I need furniture for my home.

Royal's also sells a variety of home appliances at prices comparable to other "appliance" stores. It is convenient to
get most of your home's furnishings in one place.

Royal's is location on Highway 27 South in Sebring. They have plenty of parking.

Carmike Lakeshore 8

The Rain Tree Antique Mall is located on Highway 27 South in Sebring. There is plenty of free parking so come out and have a look.

There are many different antique sellers/buyers/dealers under one roof here. You can browse in air-conditioned comfort. Just when you think you've come to the end of the
shops, there's another and another. It is easy to spend half a day browsing through the antiques and other collectibles.

It's a fun day to visit, even if you don't buy. See ya there.

H Kiker Tree Surgery

After last year's hurricanes, we had several large pine trees go down on our property. We were in no rush to remove most of them because they did not endanger us or hinder the use of our property. However, one tree was leaning on our garage. We were afraid the weight might damge the roof.

We called the office of Kiker H Tree Surgeon and, naturally, he was fully booked. We were told to call back in a few weeks. We felt that they should have, at least, asked what the circumstances were regarding our need.

We eventually got most of the tree cut and removed by our own hard work.

Kiker H Tree has a great reputation in the area and under normal circumstances, I expect they would be out to service a customer promptly.

Country Club Realty Of Sebring

Country Club Realty of Sebring is located next to the Country Club of Sebring. It is a small office that specializes in homes and properties in the "Country Club" estate area. However, this realty company will accept listings for any property. Since they are a Multiple Listings agency, they will show you any MLS property too.

My experience with this realty company left me with a new respect for the realty profession. I had experienced realtors who told me where to locate property and told me to call them back if interested. The realtor I dealt with at Country Club realty actually, in this day of high gasoline prices, took me in his car for several hours of "looking" as properties which fit my shopping criteria. I was not pressured into making a quick decision.

I would recommend this realty company to anyone who is in the market for a home or property in the Sebring/Highlands County area.
