Jack Quinn's Irash Pub (restaurant)
I'm not usually an Irish Pub fan but I've attended several group events at this establishment and I thouroughly enjoy the atmosphere. There are multiple accomodations for group events. They have a tasty menu, reasonably priced, and an admirable selection of beverages.
Columbus Movies 12
Tons of showtimes, tons of flicks! It can get busy but it is never overcrowded. Great location, plenty of dining options nearby so you can grab a meal before your movie and still not be late.
Norfolk Botanical Garden
A variety of outdoor (and indoor) event sites are available for rental. They are all absolutely beautiful and the staff is accustomed to hosting weddings. You'd better have a lot of change in your pocket though... this place certainly isn't cheap!
Ocean Breeze Waterpark
I LOVE water parks. I found this one disappointing. The majority of the park smelled a bit like mildew and the pools at the end of the ride looked as though they hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. The rides are mostly short and relatively slow, which is great for children. I prefer a bit more excitement in my water.
Sun Sand Wear
Various patterns all in multiple styles... it makes it much easier for women to find the flattering swim suit cut in the right color. You can also mix and match!
Things Remembered
Whether you're looking for wedding party gifts or just a special picture frame this store has it. They also engrave in a very short period of time. Many of their products are a bit pricey but they are of high quality.
Okey Dokey
Clean and well organized, this store offers a large selection of clothing all at a lower than average price. They have styles for every generation. Definitely recommended, especially if you enjoy shopping as much as I do.
Emerson's Of Norfolk
I don't know much about cigars... but I knew that I wanted to buy a gift for someone who did. The staff was incredibly helpful. They walked me through my options and were completely honest about price versus taste. The sales person actually recommended one of the cheaper cigars as she felt it had a better flavor. Of course, like any other tabacco store, don't go in unless you plan on smelling like tabacco when you leave.
U-Haul Co
I have rented many a U Haul in my day and this location has, by far, provided the worst customer service and the filthiest vehicles. I had to purchase a steam cleaner to rid my furniture of the stench they acquired in a 30 minute transit in the back of one of their trucks.

RIght now SONA will give you 40% off any hair removal package. I haven't been brave enough to venture into the electrolysis world... yet... but I've heard nothing but good things from my friends who have taken SONA up on their deal!
