Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
Gumbo Limbo is the best place in Palm Beach County to spend a day with kids learning about the ocean environment. Kids can view sea turtles and learn about their rescue program and hold live sea creatures in an outdoor touchtank. Bring a picnic and take a walk through the swamp--see turtles, snakes, and spiders in their natural environment. Free admission, donation suggested.

Shore Edge Resort Motel
The Shore edge Hotel in Boca Raton has recently been demolished to accomodate new townhomes on the ocean. It used to be a small, family owned, and charming hotel.

Courtyard-Boca Town Ctr Mall
This is another Great Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Located directly off I-95 at the Yamato Road exit, the hotel is also within five minutes driving to downtown Boca Raton and shops and movies. Clean and relialbe appointments including pool, gym, and evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Seagate Hotel & Beach Club
The Seagate is a gem--located directly on the ocean, the beach is beautiful and the rooms are great little efficiencies ideal for families. The hotel is located a short distance from Palm Beach International Airport.

The Marriott Delray is the perfect hotel if you want to spend time at the beach and at the pool. Located across the street from the beautiful Atlantic ocean, you can walk into downtown where you'll find fabulous restaurants and shops. The hotel offers a variety of eateries from casual to elegant.

The Sail Inn is a great local hideaway located in downtown Delray Beach. Fun old charming bar and light fare--a great place to mingle with the locals after a day at the beach!

The Colony is a beautiful historic hotel right in downtown Delray Beach. The rooms are completed renovated, but retain their charm. The street life is fun and exciting and right outside the quiet lobby. Live music on the patio is offered many weekend nights--a great place to mingle with the locals!
