Belvedere-Tiburon Library
Great library with excellent internet access. Not a very big library but located right adjacent to city hall and right on Tiburon Blvd. Lots of kids in here usually but not too loud as there are separate study rooms so kids can talk loudly and discuss things or just study quietly. Good selection of books and most of the librarians are quite friendly. Good marin library and easy parking in the lot.
University Of California Riverside
Well, the location of the school is not the greatest, as it sits right in the basin of lots of pollution and not much to do in Riverside. But you will get a strong UC education and the campus itself is nice, being one of the smallest UCs. Not one of the hardest UCs to get into, but they have very strong undergrad programs and the area will help you focus on your work.
A Snails Pace Running Shop
If you are willing to pay a little extra for a high quality brand of running or cross training shoe this is the place to go. The sales associates here are really world class and will take as much time as you need to find the best shoe and fit for your feet. They are quite knowledgable and your shoe will last longer than one you get at Big 5 where it is difficult to even get help. I highly recommend this place for shoes.
Kragen Auto Parts
This Kragen is located inside a shopping center with a Target and is on yorba linda and placentia. The Kragen is right adjacent to an auto repair shop which tends to hide the Kragen as they are the same color logo. This Kragen has everything you need and some good buys on clearance items. Associates are friendly for the most part and parking is relatively easy.

This is a small little medical office. The receptionist was chatting away to her coworker the whole time about a boyfriend or something very loudly and quite graphically which was a bit uncomfortable and unprofessional. May be long waits, but work can get done quickly and office is easy to find and usually loads of parking. This is right on the corner of Placentia and Yorba Linda.
Fullerton Public Information
This is a new looking library right next to city hall and they have a very quiet, professional looking library. Parking is easy and is not on Commonwealther but in a lot behind the library. Great selection of old and new books as well as videos. Not the best place for young kids as it has a quiet atmosphere. Very large though and good if you need to focus and study, like in school.
Placentia Library District
This library has separate section designated for small children. Very good resources and new books as well as VHS and DVDs which you can rent for free! Also a great service where you can talk to librarians 24 hours a day online. Easy renewal service over the phone or online and librarians are friendly and can be a great help for finding difficult items.
Susie's Deals
At this place, you can buy tons of things and not spend much money at all. Almost everthing in the store is $5 and the name really says it: You can find some really great deals here on all different kinds of clothes and clothing accessories. Store is nicely kept and employees are quite nice. Store caters mostly to women but can find some great buys for boys if you look.
Orange County Health Care Agency Mental Health Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services West County Services Ch
This center helps with a variety of needs including mental health issues, alcohol dependency, drug abuse, and is located right off the freeway. Office is very inviting and easy to get to and find, and parking is quite a cinch. The staff is very friendly and will help you with whatever your problems may be. Great place to send someone you love or care about who needs help now.
David's Bridal
David's Bridal is a popular Bridal store where brides go to get bridal dresses, bridesmaids dresses, accecories, etc. I went to this store when I was looking for my wedding dress. It is FILLED with dresses of all styles but the prices are ridiculous. Since I refuse to fall victim to the retail bridal business I went to smaller stores in Los Angeles where they had the SAME DRESSES for at least 1/2 the price. The bridal industry is a serious racket.
