Tatoo Paradise is one of the smallest studios in Shreveport. They offer a full range of body piercings at moderate prices, and two tattoo artist on staff. It's a very clean and tidy studio, and the staff is incredibly friendly and polite. Their prices area bit higher than local studios

Tom's is a wonderful source for old, outdated trading cards. He has a large collection of not sporting cards from movies and cartoons, at fabulous prices. He also carries an extensive collection of comics, board games, sports trading cards and magazines. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and the shop is conveniently located in the Heart of Bossier shopping plaza

The zoo itself is almost as big as the parking lot. You pay a small fee to enter, about $3 for adults, and it takes about seven minutes to see llof the animals. They have one lion, who looks to be very old. There were two giraffes, an elephant or two and some prairie dogs. A lot of the animals are indigenous to Texas, but the setting is so sparse and dismal, it's almost depressing to look at them. The ball fields and park across from the zoo are much more entertaining.
PROS: The weather is almost always good
CONS: Few animals, few exhibits, way too small.
They carry a wide selection of comic books, and offer a subscription service. They have a huge selection of board games, and a wall of Hello Kitty items. The store has an extensive collection of figurines, from metaphysical dragons, to comic book heros. They also stock anime and an impressive number of Japanese items.

Bargain Bush is a small store, with a lot to offer. They sell the whole range of trading cards, from sporting teams to Poke-mon. But they specialize in novelty items. Whoopi cushions, light sabers, beanie babies, and joke items. So if you're looking for a hard to find rookie card, or fake vomit, this is your place

Celtic Moon specializes in Celtic lore. You can order traditional costumes, weapons, and literature. But they also dabble in several other paths. There's a small wiccan room, with books and a few traditional supplies. There's also a wonderful collection of jewerly and athames in the front of the store. You can find several different kinds of apparel, and information on local activities.
PROS: Great outlet for Celtic merchandise
CONS: Not a very big store
The Peace of Mind Center is a meeting place for like minded individuals. They offer lectures, as well as renting rooms for seminars. There is an extensive book collection for sale, covering every topic of mind body and spirit. You can purchase supplies for religious ceremonies, jerewly, talisman, and gifts.
PROS: a nurturing center for devotion

Don't be fooled by the name. Ellis is several store in one. The back is a custom framing shop, with prints for sale. The front holds fabulous displays each Christmas, of diaramas. Each lifesize "room" is decorated in a different motif, using the wonderful ornaments and decor available for sale at Ellis. A side room offers christmas trees and outdoor decorations, and the middle of the store is a large collection of home decor. They sell several nationally recognized brands of candles and incense.

Linwood's offers more than ready made ceramics. They also sell greenware for crafters, glazes, molds, and ceramic tools. You can purchase your clay there by the boxfull, and they will fire for you at minimal cost. The store isn't exactly fancy, in fact it's cluttered and dusty. But the staff are experts, and incredibly friendly

Wolf'n Diller is Shreveport's largest costume rental. But they also offer a full of range of accessories. They cater to the local theatres and colleges, and carry Ben Nye make up packs as well. Whether you're looking for a costume for one night, or need 50 boas for a big scal production, this is the place to go
