The Legendary Pink Palace hasn't lost it's style. This hotel is gorgeous and has a wonderfully friendly staff. Beautiful view... as hotel is right on the sea. Great food, great shops, great location! Nice big rooms.... but it's hard to think of anything beyond the view... it's breathtaking! Pay the extra for beachfront and you won't leave your lanai... or take the mountain view and just walk down the beach.
PROS: beach front, great staff, nice big rooms THE VIEW
This hotel is beautiful - and you can hardly beat the location... right across the street from Waikiki Beach. Everyone on staff here is helpful and friendly and really shines with the Aloha Spirit. The price is a bit high, but it's Waikiki and it's a Resort. You've got it all at your fingertips - great food, great spa services, and shopping - without leaving your hotel. And then when you do leave you're in the heart of Waikiki. Huge rooms - 2 double beds and a couch and then there's a chaise out on the lanai. It's hard to find anything wrong with this hotel. Once you've stayed here you compare other hotels to this one.
PROS: location, wonderful staff, huge rooms, beautiful resort hotel
CONS: $$$$$ a bit expensive
Really a nice, reasonably priced hotel in Waikiki. The view is of the Ala Wai, which was lovely. Located right off of Kuhio on Lewer's street so close enough to the action without paying expensive beachfront prices. The room is nice, and a nice size - comes with complimentary continental breakfast and coffee - which helps if you're on a budget. Really nice and friendly staff. The pool area is a bit small... but you're in Hawaii... go to the beach!
PROS: great prices, nice staff
Times always has great prices, and the staff here is really nice... always helpful. The only negative would be this location... this strip mall is always packed w/people... may even have to circle for parking.
PROS: great prices, nice staff
CONS: location is busy
Kmart keeps it reputation ... low prices. Lots of choices of all sorts of things - clothes, shoes, baby items, hunting gear (who'd a thunk???), automotive, furniture, toys, paints, snacks, shampoos and on and on.
Nice set up , really relaxed, mellow staff... low pressure sales people , nice and friendly
PROS: low prices, nice staff, lots of choices
CONS: busy location
Looking to redecorate? Just move in? Home Depot's got you covered, from flooring (hardwoods, carpets, linoleum) to shower curtains. Paints, and nails, even cabinetry. Or do you just need more storage? They've got shelves, shelving units, free standing closets... everything. And this store's staff is excellent. Great customer service.
PROS: Staff, tons of choices for redecorating
Great membership club with excellent perks... Everything under one roof shopping. They've got furniture, jewelry, groceries- everything you could possibly need.
PROS: Great Prices!
CONS: Busy location, this store is always busy... lots of customers
Does it get any better than this? Costco is bargain shopping at it's finest! Sure you're buying BULK - but this is not your mama's crazy bulk buying of the past - it's realistic, everyday items that you'll definitely use in a timely manner. And they have everything - ono local foods, fresh baked goods, big screen televisions, air conditioners --- if you need it, they got it. Furniture, baby clothes, dog food.... the list goes on and on and on. The membership pays for itself the first time you hit the check out line... oh! And don't forget the GAS!!!
PROS: LOW PRICES--1 stop shopping -- Best gas prices in town!
CONS: membership fee, and membership hours, no one bags your items
The Ala Moana Hotel is lovely. The rooms are spacious, and extremely clean. The staff is cordial and full of the aloha spirit. But probably it's number one asset is it's close proximity to Ala Moana Shopping Plaza. Sure it's not beachfront, but it's Mall front... and what's on the other side of this shopping haven??? The beach- yep, the world famous Ala Moana Beach! If you're traveling w/children and are terrified of the high prices of in room dining or the thought of going to expensive restaurants morning, noon, and night... check this place out. The Mall's food court is a short walk away (the hotel and mall share a parking lot). And one final note: the city bus depot IS Ala Moana shopping center... so no rental car needed. All that being said... the hotel is really nice... beautiful lobby, great shops, nice staff. The vibe of a resort w/out all the fuss, or expense.
PROS: Location, spacious rooms, extremely clean
Let's be honest, no one likes waxings... but these ladies really do work wonders. They are patient and meticulous. It's amazing how something so small can make such an impact on your overall look.
PROS: Meticulous, perfectionist - very nice -good price
