EGO Denim
I have been to this shop once and found the jeans to be way
overpriced. $150 for one pair - you have to be crazy? They do have a large selection with every variety and brand you can imagine but the prices are just too ridiculous for me to buy anything. If you don't mind paying out the yin yang for your jeans then this might be the place for you.
Best Western PLUS Inn at the Peachtrees
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while our home was being tented. The rooms were noisy, we could hear everything our neighbors were doing if you know what I mean. Our room reaked of smoke even though we were told it was a non smoking room. When we asked for another room were told they were too full and they weren't nice about it.
Joe's Catering
Our office has been using Joe's Catering for quite some time now and the food is phenomenal. Everything is always delivered on time and fresh. The owner is friendly and even accomodates our associates with special dietary needs. He stay competitive with his pricing and is a breeze to work with.
Gaslight Inn Bed & Breakfast
The hubby and I stayed here for a weekend away from the kids and were treated like gold. Mark saw that our every need was met. The food was fabulous with fresh baked goods every morning. The rooms are lovely with the softest comforter I think I've ever felt. This place is a real gem. I can't wait to return.
Sheraton Suites Galleria-Atlanta
Our family from out of town recently stayed at the Sheraton Suites and it was classy all the way. The suites were furnished with double beds that were the size of queen beds. Location is perfect because it is close to the airport and the mall is right next door. My only advice would be to stay on the mall side because the side near the highway can be a little noisy.
Sugar Magnolia Bed & Breakfast
Stay at the Magnolia if you want a relaxed stay that is both simple and luxurious. Little extras like the complimentary robes and delicious breakfasts were a nice touch. I loved sitting in the garden with a book and travelling around Downtown, enjoying the nightlife. The Magnolia is in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the train station. This is a great place to stay at.
Wells Fargo Bank
I stopped banking here last year because of an incident that I could not forgive. Somehow I lost my debit card and did not realize it. While a thief made cross-country purchases using my money this bank never thought to notify me of suspicious activity. When I realized through statements that over $1500 was missing from my account I had the time of my life trying to get this bank to shut the card off. It took them a full 24 hrs to cancel the card out and allow the crook to steal even more of my hard earned cash. It also took over 3 months for Wachovia to put the lost money back into my account. I was treated like I was the crook and because of that I will never bank here again and would not send me worst enemy to Wachovia.
Little Five Points Pharmacy
Going to this pharmacy is like a blast from the past. The pharmacist actually remembers my name and talks to me about my prescriptions. Treatment like this is unheard of at chain pharmacies. And the soda fountain a great conversation piece when I take the grandkids. They get to see how things used to be.
Starlight Six Drive-In Theatre
Our family loves the Starlight. One of the last open drive-in theaters left in the country this place is truly a landmark. A fantastic place to catch a movie from the comfort of your car. With the ability to bring whatever food we want, bring the grandkids for free (kids under 10 get in free), or cuddle with the hubby (things you can't do at any other theater) we just love it.
The Fickle Manor
My kids love this shop. Tons of funky clothing and beautiful artwork. Last time I was there I purchased beautiful handmade necklace that gets me many compliments. I also don't mind the low prices and excellent customer service. Tell the girls at this place what you're looking for and who you're shopping for and they will find you the perfect gift.
