yes you can rent all you need to attend your school prom here. it has no surprises, just the usual suits, shirts, ties, pants, shoes. But you can get what you need, please try to reserve your tux in advance to insure its availability. An abundance of parking - big lot.
Conveniently located on the entrance road to the milford post mall, large parking lot for plenty of parking. This is a big store, chock full of all kinds of children's toys, games, furniture, dolls, electronics, collectible barbies - lots of choices here.
Conveniently located on the Orange/West Haven border, this is a relatively small congregation with stong community pride and attachments. They are like a small town church that looks after it's members - both in joy and in time of need.
West Haven is not the best or biggest city around, but they do offer alot of activities for the residents. From kiddies groups on up. You can ask for a brochure to be sent to you.
Conveniently located in the Connecticut Post Mall (aka Fairfield Mall) With the newest styles and wide range of sizes. Many brands to choose from for Women, kids and Men (mostly men) Not alot of sales but having the newest styles to choose from make up for it.
this is just a so-so store - touted for its wonderful bargains and great discounts - I don't think so - lots of cheap merchandise, some close-outs, disorganized, the clearks are no help, only one cashier open at at time. I won't bother going again.
Discounts on assorted items - this IS a discount store - full of odd findings. You may find a teak elephant side table, or last years style prom dress. How about a few boxes of ceramic tile for the kitchen you are remodeling or a 5 gallon bottle of ketchup. Try a cheaply made suitcase or exquisite garden ornaments. This is fun to walk through every month or so - they always have the standard items as well as something to surprise you!
Small, cramped dusty, and stuffed with 'antiques'. If you are able to find what you are looking for, I would be surprised. Too much 'stuff' and too little room. Anything of value has already been removed. Gone are the antique stores of yesterday.
A fun store to shop in, chock fun of great findings. A bridal shower, 50th birthday, kids favorite television themed stuff, plates, disposable champagne glasses, tableclothes, aluminum pans, balloons you can have filled there or just buy the pkg yourself, and costumes- wonderful selection of costumes - a great find for halloween. Oh I can't forget ALL the tiny favors you can buy for parties, christmas stockings, pinatas etc.
Surprises in this store always happen. While you may stop in for milk, you HAVE to cruise the 'close-out' aisles too. You may find that pair of salt shakers you wanted two years ago, but they were too expensive, so you didn't buy them, even though they matched your new dinnerware set, and here they are not at $25 but at $3.50! Pick up your prescriptions, school supplies, fresh produce, hairspray, good grief they do have a little bit of everything, and its usually a litle bit cheaper than elsewhere. BUT don't forget to check out the two or three 'close-out' aisles, you may find a treasure there!
