This doctor and his fellow vets specialize in exotic animals ranging from parrots to lizards. He is very aware of how fragile birds are and likes yearly check ups with blood work. Another vet arrived in the middle of the night for an emergancy call about my bird. She worked hard, but was unable to save him. She sent me a nice card afterwards. The vets are also good with cats and dogs. It is expensive to go here, but if you need the specialized care it is worth it.
My middle aged cat came down sick and the vet did everything possible to save him. He was admitted and given a lot of medication and had a lot of blood tests. She worked very hard on saving him, but it was his time to go. She saw my elderly cat a few months later and was still very pleasant, as all of her staff is. She is really into taking care of your pets teeth properly so she will probably promote good oral health for your pets.
I homeschooled two of my children with the help of and through the Clonlara school system. They helped us with course work ideas and suggested classes my kids should take individualized to their seperate goals. We could reach the contact teacher quickly through e-mail. They were understanding that one of my children had to go at her own pace due to illness. They were very helpful in the end result of getting my homeschooled children a reputable diploma.
I have visited this museum many times since I was very young. It is located on an AFB and has most of the planes in hangers. Some of the airplanes are outside and you can get a very close look! Part of the museum has information on spaceflight and works its way up to current day military aircraft. There are artifacts from all of America's major conflicts concerning the Air Force. You can learn a lot, but bring a sweater. The musuem is very chilly even in the summer.
This museum is very large and spacious giving room to many, many exhibits. They have a rather large dinosaur exhibit and many other fossils. Right now they have a special exhibit on "The Mysterious Bog People" which costs an extra $5 per adult to see on top of the $10 fee just to get in. I think it is definately worth the money to see all of the history they have.
The historical society has had budget cuts so the living history village is only open for special occasions. The museum has a large display on early humans in Ohio, Native American tribes, and how they functioned. The museum also has animals, real ones, who are stuffed and on display for educational purposes. There is also civil war artifacts, a wooly mammoth skeleton and an Egyption mummy. There are lots of other things sprinkled in between. The admittance price is kind of high, but I think well worth it.
This business copies information packets that some courses at the Ohio State University require. The copies are done as quickly as possible considering the number of students who show up at the beginning of a quarter. They also copy very clearly. The prices are pretty much just the price for the copies, barely any extra money added on. The staff is fairly friendly and helpful.
This place has very large washers where you can fit just about anything in them. They easily take sleeping bags and king sized comforters. One of the employees is very, very kind and is helpful if you require help. She is very friendly and helps you pass the time while your clothes wash by talking with you. One of the other employees isn't so pleasent. The prices are average and it's not too crowded.
On the few occasions when I have been in The Wexner Center I have noticed that the lecture halls are large and modern with very comfortable chairs. There is no admission fee. The center sometimes has very distinguished individuals in their respected fields. I was honored to be at a lecture by a very distinguished physicist.
I brought my dog here many times to use the self service dog wash. You pay for the water and can buy shampoo, too. I would bring my own shampoo. The timer for the water seems to have a mind of its own sometimes and seems to turn off early. The "baths" are large enough for big dogs and can hold the weight of a heavy dog also. My dog loved it and so did I.
