Lake Road Market
This is a great little store. Their meat selection is simply the best in town. Its a small store, with that hometown feel. Don't let the size fool you, though, it's bound to have everything you need.
Heinen's Grocery Store
A relatively small store, the prices at Heinen's tend to be - on average - a little higher than other chain stores. As everything, though, you get what you pay for. The produce selection is always fresh and varied. Their meat selection is good and their deli is fabulous. A good place for wine, too. This store is especially good for those hard to find, gourmet items.
Village of The Falls
Everyone here - owners and workers alike - care about the patients. This should say it all, but there's more. The facility is absolutely fabulous - designed to feel like a real home and not a "home," residents are immediately at ease. Planned activities, regular outings, and family nights make this place all the more special. Definitely worth the money.
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Cleveland has one of the best zoos in the country. There are plenty of animals to see and its fun for all ages. Don't expect to see it all in one day, though, its so big that its better done in several 1/2 day increments. Our favorites are the Australian Outback - where wallabies and kangaroos hop freely by the walking path, a petting zoo, and a old fashioned train ride appeal to kids of all ages, and the Northern Trek - where seals will work for food. The rainforest is a treat, too, if not a little stinky.
Ohio City Dry Cleaners Ltd
This is the place to bring your cleaning! The service is great and I am never disappointed in the quality of the work. The prices are fair, too. Friendly, fair, and fabulous!
Ben Franklin
A quiet spot in Amhert, you wouldn't even know this place is a pet store. I went there for fish and wasn't disappointed. The fish are in the basement - what a selection. The staff is helpful, too. Helped pick the perfect tank for my 3 year old. Avoid the chains, go here.
Guadiz Isabelita E Md
A FABULOUS pediatrician. Her entire office is extremely helpful, patient, and all around wonderful. She has a way with kids that makes them love her. Her nurses, too. One drawback - she is almost never running on time. Worth the wait, though, in my opinion. When it is your turn, she is never rushed and gives your children the attention you expect.
West Park Animal Hospital
The staff here is great! The vets are knowledgeable and friendly - both with your pets and you. The front desk is a pleasure to work with as well. My only complaint is that they take your dog out of the room to administer the vaccinations - like I stated above, just my pet peeve. I'd rather be in the room. Oh - affordable and they just built a brand new, gorgeous facility.
Landings Animal Hospital
A1 Service both for you and your pet. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. It is obvious the veterinarians love their work - their care and patience in dealing with the animals is unsurpassed in the area (believe me, I've been looking for a place like this). No vet yet? Go here.
Tomorrows A Hair Salon Inc
What a great salon! A cut above everyone else in the city. Their stylists are terrific and everyone is friendly. They go above and beyond in the little extras, too.
