Walden Terry Dds
Dr. Walden is a terrific dentist. He was my dentist for the first 5 years I was in Texas. He had the unfortunate task of dealing with my wisdom teeth. One one impacted so he had to go in and do surgery on it and the other 2 that were bothering me he took out in the morning and I was able to go to work afterwards. He is a very friendly man and will charm you to no end. I would recommend him for any family.

Family Vision Ctr Of Rockwall
We started going to Dr. Salazar last year when our insurance changed. My son was in need of getting his eye exam and we scheduled a Saturday appointment which was great for our schedules. However upon getting to the office we were told that the receptionist didn't mark down the appointment and we would have tor reschedule. The next appointment actually was written down and went off without a hitch. Dr. Salazar was really good with my son who gets nervous with doctors and was very helpful. His glass selection is toward the higher end of the line but they are really helpful in getting a pair that fits properly on your face.
PROS: Very kid friendly

Coleman Anne Md
We have used Dr. Coleman for over 4 years now and she is a wonderful doctor. She has always been able to fit my husband in and is great at sitting with you and figuring out what is wrong instead of just coming in and prescribing something and going on to the next patient.

Attaway Lisa K
Dr. Lisa Attaway is one of the best dentists in the Rockwall area. She has been our famiy dentist since our oldest son had to have his baby tooth removed since the other tooth was coming in right on top of it. She is great with kids and a wonderful dentist for adults as well. Our whole family goes to her and her team here in Rockwall.

Let me start off by saying that this is a very good Mexican restaurant. The food is some of the best tex-mex (especially the beef enchiladas) and the price is really good too. We love going for the chips and salsa. My oldest son loves salsa and has declared this restaurant his favorite for their spicy hot salsa. The kids? menu even has hamburgers and fries for those that haven?t gotten onto the tex-mex bandwagon yet and it never fails one of ours always picks that option instead of tacos. A good pick if you are in the area.

Campisi's Restaurant
We happened to go on a Saturday afternoon and I was afraid we had made a mistake however the restaurant seemed to have just ended a heavy lunch crowd and there were plenty of tables for us to choose from. You place your order at the counter and then go and sit down and await the food. Our boys were hungry so we ordered the garlic bread, which came out pretty quick. They ordered the kids spaghetti while the adults had the chicken parmigan and the chicken piccatta. The adult entrees were good but a little messy while the kids spaghetti was exactly enough for our boys. The food was good for the price but the tables were very small which for our crowd of three kids kept things very crowded.

Taqueria Tres Rosas
We happened upon Taqueria Tres Rosas by accident one rainy Saturday while taking our boys to the Nickelrama on Belt line in Garland. The restaurant we originally wanted to check out had gone out of business so we drove down the street and found this one. We didn?t know at first if it was a take out place or one where you could sit. Turns out a little of both. The restaurant is situated in one end of the strip shopping center so it is a little odd shaped. It had three smaller tables on the back wall and one larger table in the front by the windows. A very helpful waitress showed us to our table and gave us menus. This is a very authentic Mexican type of restaurant. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time (including the other family) that didn?t speak Spanish. The children?s menu included beef enchiladas, which my boys ordered. The meals were served on foam plates and we had to tell the boys what was on their enchiladas since they were covered from one end to the other in cheese. After peeling off a little to find the enchiladas we dug in. The enchiladas were not your normal ground beef variety but actually brisket which gave it a different flavor. It was a side trip definitely worth it. Note that if you order soft drinks they come in the can. The price is extremely reasonable and the food was fantastic.

Sammy Walkers Bar-B-Que
If you blink while driving down Dalrock in Rowlett just before the Lake Ray Hubbard bridge you might miss the little restaurant set back a little from the road. However don?t let the small size of the restaurant deter you from trying the fabulous food inside. The last time we went was to pick up take out. The barbeque brisket is tender and flavored just the right amount without being too messy. The potato salad is one of the greatest around. This is definitely one of the places to go to get it to take home. I?m not sure if our band of 3 boys would actually fit in the restaurant now and the parking is a little tight however it is definitely worth the wait and the visit.

Salsa Burritos & Tacos
Salsa Burritos & Tacos is a great new establishment in the North Dallas area actually located in Plano just to the east of the Tollway on Parker Road. They have an new twist on their menu for Tex Mex. The service on our last visit was exceptionally friendly. The dining room was a fairly good size and they had no problem finding us a nice table and a high chair for our little one. The food was very tasty especially the tacos and the hot sauce tasted fresh and spicy. It is definitely a place to go if you want Tex-Mex food and don?t want the same ole fast food fare.
PROS: Good food, friendly service
CONS: Quite a bit of a drive to get there
