West Orange 5 is a small, friendly movie theater but shows the latest releases at a good price. When I first drove past it five years ago I though it was an adult theater, thats how the place looks from the outside. But don't be discouraged. It is a family theater with a great staff. I do not think they are owned by any of the big chains like AMC. In addition, they sell beer, nachos and hamburgers. Every Sunday my wife gets up and says. "Lets see whats playing at Orange!"
Park Theater is an 11 screen cinema with an emphasis on the second run of hit movies. Just a few months after the mall and a few months before DVD you can see first rate movies at a fraction of the price. As of now it is 2.50 for all show , all times. The theater also has some history, according to the mural in the lobby, it was here that Walt Disney announced plans for the Central Florida attraction.
The place is not the most modern up to date theater but is a great value and I have never seen it too crowded.
Bennigans in Altamonte Springs Florida is always a good bet. I find Bennigans to be a little expensive compared to Chilis buts it is still a nice diversion form the same ol stuff. I had the New Chicken Fajitas, I actually had to take some home, and I'm a big boy. The wife had the sirloin, cooked exactly as ordered with a famous Bennigans all the way baked potato. We will without a doubt return to this location!!
I recently stayed at the Casino Magic Resort in Bay St Louis, Ms. I found the rates to be a little pricey. However, my biggest complaint is the location. It is near none of the other Biloxi or Gulfport Casinos. In addition, I was not very thrilled with their casino and choice of games. I would have like to see more nickel machines. The pool was tiny for a resort of this size and backing. This is no Las Vegas. I guess the location is a positive as well as a negative. They are near New Orleans and a beautiful city called Pass Christian.
I recently had the pleasure to visit Biloxi, MS and several of its casino, I found Boomtown to have one of the most appealing comp promotions and one of the areas friendliest staffs. Presently they are running a promotion, when you join there players club for the first time, what ever you lose the first day will be refunded to you by mail. They also have a cash back promotion. I spent over 8 hours in this casino, a record for me. I do not believe that have a hotel, which is why the comps are better in other ways.
I have been going to CiCis Pizza for over 15 years, even to one of the origional stores in Texas. This one has the most attentive and friendlys managers and staff of all. And if you dont see what you want on the bar, just ask!!
At Save A Lot you get great prices. If you are looking for pretty cashiers and clean floors go to Publix. I have probably been there 50 times and only once did I leave disgusted over a mis marked item. Overall decent.
PROS: Low prices
CONS: Somtimes scary customers
It was this store that first got me to hate WalMart. I resent that once Wal-Mart had store greaters and then turned them into security/receipt checkers. I do not think random receipt checks while leaving is approiate or useful. Obviously, if one was to steal somthing, it would not be sittting in his cart. If anything this pratice is a liabilty, do they check all races and sexes equally. I'd like to see the numbers.
I recently went into this store to price some jewelry. I was assisted within moments of entering the store and the associates appear to have great product knowledge. I would in no way call this company a discount store but the merchandise is of top quality from respected jewelers.
I have only been to this location twice but I plan on returning. The first time I was there the June 11,05 I found the line to be long and slow. However, this was because several customers apparently had some unusual issues. Over all the staff is friendly and the store is well kept.
