The clothes here are not always worth buying. Yes, it's priced very low which is the attraction, however, the clothes are not made of even average quality. If you want a trendy outfit that you don't expect to wear a lot, this would be the pace to buy it. Otherwise, don't bother.

Chicago Movers did a good job moving my furniture to my new home. I didn't have a whole lot of personal stuff, but the furniture I did have was large and cumbersome and nothing was damaged in the move. They were timely and efficient. I would highly recommend using them for moving in the city.

Midas Auto Svc Experts

I went to Midas to have the brakes on my car repaired. They were helpful, and accommodated my scheduling. They were able to check the car out right away as opposed to other shops that required me to drop off my car for several hours to check it out. The price was fair for new brakes and it took less time then anticipated. I'd go back there for any other work.

Charles Ifergan Coiffures Ltd

I've been to Charles Ifgeran to have my hair cut and colored several times and have always had a positive experience. Charles Ifergan greeted me on one occasion, the appointments ran on time, and my stylist gave me a great cut and listened to what I wanted. It is a bit of a cramped space in the salon, but they do give you personal attention and are very friendly.

Seadog Speed Boat Rides

This is a fun tour for the summer to see the city from the lake. It's a loud, fast boat which is a crowd pleaser. We took guests from out of town and all of us enjoyed it, and unfortunaelty it ended too soon.

I just start shopping here and I love it. The small industrial looking store is both for men and women and has funky urban fashions and shoes that are not to outlandish. The clothes can be a bit more expensice, but the sales items are a priced well and the staff is very friendly.

Brudno Art Supply Company Incorporated

Reasonable selection for the artist's supplies. Not as big as some other supply stores, but it does have competetive pricing and lots a wide range of paints. The assistance has always been good as well.

Chicago Botanic Garden

Who doesn't like the Botanic Gardens? A sunny warm day is the perfect day to take a stroll through the gardens. One does not need to know a lot about flowers to appreciate the gardens. However, there are not as many flowers as other gardens, but there is really nice landscaping. Also, it's large but it doesn't take more than a few hours there to see everything.

Fresh Farms

Fresh Farms has a great low priced selection of produces. I do a lot of my produce shopping here and the quality is good as well. They also have food from Eastern Europe that is harder to find.

Wickes Furniture Showrooms

Wicks does have a large selection of home furniture. But, it's not the most trendy or upscale furniture. Most of it is of average quality and look, which is just fine for basic home pieces. But the prices are really good and the sales associates were very helpful.
