Billy Bobs Texas
If you want to experience all that a great country bar has to offer then go here. Checkout to see the headliners - the stars of country music perform here - and Willy nelson is a regular. If you can't have fun here - you are dead!
Gypsy Tea Room
experience - this is the place to go. I went to watch my daughter sing and even though I was "old" no one paid any attention - I was able to enjoy it - everyone was friendly and it is a close up experience that brings the performers close to the audience
Bass Performance Hall
I was given tickets because someone from Fort Worth wanted me to experience Bass Hall. I think it is a great place. A modern building and yet built with a style reminiscent of the great theatres. No bad seats. We were in the upper upper balcony and still had a great view. I did think though that they should have had more "comforts" i.e. water fountains or bar for those patrons of the upper levels since there would not be time to go down to the ground floor during the intermission.
C P Shades Incorporated
CP Shades women's clothing is wonderfully comfortable and yet stylish and for all ages. But as an older woman this is my store - their clothing seems designed to make me look slimmer and hides those imperfections that age brings. My only complaint is that they used to be in Dallas where I live and now I have to wait to visit my daughter in LA - wish they would go online. I think they are missing out on a huge market.
Vroman's Bookstore
I went into this store for just a short while and realized immediately that this was a place I had to come back to soon and spend hours in. Looks like the perfect bookstore to me.
Fort Worth Museum Of Science
The museum is very good and interesting and children especially enjoy the hands on experiences but for me the favorite part is the IMAX theatre. It is an incredible experience
Vesty Liquor Store
I like this store because of its easy access to the freeway. Their prices are good, they have a very wide selection of wines and they always offer a discount for bulk buying. Plus, they offer the service of delivery to your car.
Beverage Depot
risky unsafe purchasing situation. This large liquor store does a high volume business and their prices are unbeatable but you can definitely feel unsafe when out in the parking lot. They have a security "person" standing on a ladder inside but offer no curb service even to elderly women when making a large purchase. I think they should revisit this and offer some outside security. I would think with the volume of business they do - they could cover that.
The Magnolia
I loved this theatre. It is in a great location. Shows the best independent films, and you can drink a nice glass of wine while watching the movie - couldn't be better.
Majestic Theater
Went to this theatre for the first time this past year to see the Australian tenors. I loved the fact that in the City of Dallas there was a theatre that has retained it's old world feel. Very nice evening of theatre.
