We were very happy to find Dami in Fishers. Previously to get our fix of Korean Barbeque, we'd have to drive over to the east side of town on Pendleton Pike. Not anymore! Their barbeque is delicious, fresh and with a wonderful selection of the side dishes. The meat was well seasoned and of course since you cook it yourself prepared the way we like it. We also tried a few of their sushi rolls and were very happy with the quality and quantity.
PROS: food, service
This is a fun little sports bar in Fishers. They are family friendly which is nice. There are a lot of TV's so makes for a nice place to watch a game. The menu is typical bar food - good but not terribly innovative. We enjoy meeting friends here for a quick sandwich and a few appetizers. It's nice when we want to do that and still take the kids!
PROS: atmosphere, kid friendly
Sakura is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant ever. I even prefer it to Nobu in New York and Las Vegas. The rolls are wonderful - my personal favorite is the soft shell crab roll. It's best to go with a group of people so you can order a wide variety of sushi and be able to try more things. They are always busy, so if you go on a Friday or Saturday night expect a long wait. It will be worth it.
PROS: best sushi, fresh, friendly service
CONS: long wait
This is a good place to get some tasty, fresh sushi on this side of town. We've gone several times for takeout and always been happy with the freshness and quality of the rolls and sashimi ordered. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's also the only place nearby I would order sushi from. The atmosphere is relaxing and attractive and would be a nice experience I'm sure - I've only ordered takout.
PROS: fresh sushi, nice variety
CONS: expensive, location poor
This is really a wonderful dining experience. The chef is an expert in his field and creates unique, delicious menus. He will always come out and visit the tables to chat with patrons about the food and cooking. Classes are also offered periodically and I've attended a few and really enjoyed them - thanks to one of the holiday classes I'm now a pro at making my own delicious biscotti!!!
PROS: wonderful food, excellent service
CONS: pricey but worth it
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I think I want to like it more than I really do. The menu appears to be unique and the items described sound great, but then when I receive the food it's not as great as I was expecting. Also, the few times I've been in the service has been very, very slow. The location is nice in downtown Noblesville, so hopefully the food will start to improve as they grow.
PROS: location, innovative menu
CONS: food not as good as it sounds
Syd's is a great place to go if you are looking for a simple but tasty burger and fries. Their waffle fries are very good and they also have fried pickles which are great. The staff is friendly and the service quick. This isn't the healthiest food around but it sure is good! I do wish they were non smoking - we won't take our children in because even in the family section you can smell the smoke.
PROS: good food, great prices
CONS: smoking allowed
I asked Wilmot to come to my house to give me a bid on a plumbing issue. I told him what the problem was and he listened then talked to me about other topics for about an hour. A few days later I received a bill for $45 with no estimate on the cost of repair and the only comments on the problem being EXACTLY what I had told him. I felt that I had been very misled and filed a complaint with the BBB as well as the Attorney General's office.
CONS: charge for visit with no estimate given and no diagnosis of problem
I've very impressed with the care my husband has received from this group of doctors. He was given an appointment quickly and they did testing on his first visit. They were able to get him on a course of action right away and instead of just telling him what to do they also told him why he needed to do it and what the consequences would be if he didn't. He had never received this type of information previously and really liked the extra data.
PROS: care, staff
CONS: location not convenient for us
I ended up staying here for a short visit when my doctor referred me. He felt that this would be the best hospital for what I needed treated. I was very impressed with the staff and the doctors. They did a great job explaining to me what they were doing and why. I really appreciated that. They also let my infant daughter and husband stay in my room which went a long way towards making the visit easier on me. The only issue I encountered was the registration process was long and disorganized.
PROS: staff, doctors, facilities
