Brown's Gym & Family Fitness
I had the opportunity to use this gym with a guest pass. I was pleased with the equipment and the wait time was short. though I was there mid afternoon. Parking lot was a bit crowded as there are other businesses in the plaza. The staff was friendly and eager to show me around.
Modern Lanes Birthday Parties
Everything is included with these parties, cake pizza, decorations etc. My kids have been here a few times and have always been thrilled with the place.
Idle Hour Bowling Lanes
Wondeful place to bowl, with rock-n-bowl on sat. nights. They also have a nice bar seperated from the bowling for the adults with darts and music etc. There is a seperate room as well for billiards. The score keeping is automated so it is great for the kids. and the best part of all, it never closes, its open 24 hours. I think they even have babysitting for leagues.
Hoban W P Restaurant Equipment
My brother-in-law is a caterer and I have been here many times with him to pick up several party and cooking items. He swears it is the cheapest place around.
Gregorys John Sweeper Central
I have brought many vacuums here over the years. They were always honest in tellling me which ones were worth repair and which to toss. (finally bought a dyson and have not had to go back!) They sell new and used vacuums there as well.
Dunmore Appliance Outlet
This shop has a wide variety of new and used appliances as well as dent and scratch items. We bought a fridge here a few years back with a big scratch on the right side, the side which would be against the wall anyway. It is still keeping things cool and looks great!
Gerrity's Supermarket Inc
This grocery store has a nice selection of flowers but they never seem to be anything all that special. The carnations always hold up well but anything more delicate is usually starting to brown or wilt.
The Bud Vase
Though they did a very nice job I surprised to find that EVERYTHING was covered in gold glitter when it was delivered. I was floored! I never asked for this nor was I told it was even an option. Not the natural look I was going for. Despite the glitter the flowers were fresh and arranged beautifully.
Mulberry Bush
This is a nice place to pick up mums and other outdoor garden flowers. They have a smaller selection than most of the big garden centers but what they have is always in nice condition.
Flowers By Betty
Betty is really the name of the owner at this shop and she does a wonderful job. The place is nothing fancy so do not be put off. Her work is beautiful and the flowers are always fresh!
