We got a standard room here on priceline for 30.00 per night for 2 nights during a weekday stay. They try to charge 149.00 per night during the week and 179.00 on weekends. If you get a deal on the rate its a decent place with a nice pool, but otherwise stay somewhere newer. This place was built in 1957 and is falling apart. Also, it is going to be torn down and replaced with a new mega-resort to compete with the Wynn across the street next year or so.
This motel 6 had a clean and decent room for the money. It was in a very convinenent spot and the staff was freindly enough. Our room did not have a bath tub though, only a shower.
this was a decent room close to the highway and with a nice view (from some rooms) and the room was clean and well apointed. The staff was as courtesous as necessary but not not particularly spirited. The only other appointements offered are ice and morning coffee.
The Drury inns have alwasy been my favorite, but now the offer pizza, nachos, salad, and baked patatoe bar and popcorn and drinks in the evening, complete hot breakfast with eggs and waffels in the morning, refrigerator and microwave in the room, basketaball court and indoor/outdoor heated pool, all for a normal rate of 79.00! Thats the same as other hotel that give you only a bed to sleep on and rudimentary service. There are also coupons out there for 54.00 for 4 people in a drury inn room which is an awesome bargain.
We had a nice girl who checked us into our non smoking room. Upon turning down the blankets we found flees in our bed. This place allows any and all pets to be in the guest rooms. The girl came up and changed our sheets, thats ok, but then later our room filled with smoke. The person on duty was another young student, but had a very sour attitude and changed our room for us begrudgingly, but put us in a room that was obviously not used for some reason, it had a thick film of dust on everything and soda cups stacked in the sink!
He was VERY rude when I asked for my money back and said "everything cant alwasy be rosy and sunshine". Dead flees and the norman bates room is not rosy and sunshine. This place obviously could care less about customer service.
I don't know what it is about this store, but I've never been in there when the employees were very customer friendly. I don't know if they're underpaid and/or overworked, but they're either in a grumpy mood or don't want to be bothered helping you if you ask them a question. And another thing that bothers me is..."Why do they need to know your zip code whenever you buy anything even if you're paying cash?" That baffles me.
A must stop to shop if you like anything about Disneyland or Disney World. A wide assortment of collectibles from the past present and future of Disney characters and memories. I felt like I was in the middle of Disneyland shopping in their General Store. In fact, they had a larger selection than Disneyland itself. A fun place to go. Bring lots of money if you are a collector.
The famous dollar Tree store is smaller than others I have seen, but their merchandise is top quality and new items come in weekly so you never know what type of a bargain you are going to get. Store is well organized and employees are friendly. I took my son shopping here and for $10 he had a blast. I think more fun than an amusement park. He found toys, coloring books, and treats for himself and then he went and paid for everything himself and was greeted by a very friendly cashier. Good experience.
I received a digital camera for my birthday. Not knowing much about cameras, I had a problem within the hour. I went to Best Buy for assistance and the employee was so helpful I wrote a recommendation card up with his manager. Great place to shop and great place for assistance. The store is somewhat busy because of the competitive prices, but it is worth the small wait.
Lowe's is a fairly new store in town and they have just about anything you might need for home improvement. Their paint department has anything you might need for painting your house, indoors and out. If you have a project that requires you to cut wood, they'll do it for you. If you need anything in the area of home improvement, Lowe's probably has it, including plumbing, electrical, lighting, appliances. Prices are good and selection is great.
