Okay, I know Hallmark isn't only for cards, but 3/4 of the store is glass trinkets and candles. Which is fine, but there aren't enough cards, especially when you're looking for something NOT birthday or an upcoming holiday.
For consignment, they're extremely picky. They only take consignment by appointment. The selection is poor if you're plus sized, so you might as well try somewhere they sell new clothes instead.
This place is picky on what it will accept but somehow it still has a very poor selection. The plus size area is tiny and over priced, anything that is possibly worth buying, you may as well buy the item new for what they want for it.
The chocolate is to die for. Sure, it's expensive, but there is a good reason for that--this is some of the finest chocolate available. I once bought some on sale after Christmas and it was a treat. Try the chocolate seashells. If you're a broke person, try buying one piece just for a decadent treat, or trying a dipped strawberry or ice cream drink. Oh, and try the liquer!
This is a store I don't go into too often as I'm on a diet, but when I do, I have a hard time restraining myself. There's a lot of different candies available. Maybe even some you can't find anywhere else. The bad thing is it's pricey.
This place is always a confusing store to me. The salespeople must work on commission because they never let you just browse. It's almost better to just buy your vitamins at the grocery or drug store, unless you need something hard to find.
If I hear about a comic I like coming to down, I hold my breath to see where he's playing. If it's Laff Stop, I generally will only go if it's someone I really really want to see. The place packs you in like sardines. The food is awful, but the drinks are good, though way overpriced. The waitstaff is usually annoying. Definitely not my favorite place. Give me the Improv any day over this club.
The major three are probably Laff Spot, Laff Stop, and the Improv. Far and away the Improv is the best. The seating is great. There isn't a bad seat in the place. You don't have to weave through sardine packed people. Clean place, clean bathrooms. The drinks are delicious, as is the food. The place just looks chi chi. The only downside is that it doesn't book as many great acts as Laff Spot, since Laff Spot is established and is really great to the comics. Eh, hopefully they'll edge out Laff Spot soon.
This place has jacuzzis in room. It was fairly clean. The lights were interesting-black lights, which I would think a hotel would want to steer away from.
The shower set up was interesting--no tub in there, but a big area kind of reminiscent of community showers in college, with no dividers. The bed was comfy and it was a nice place overall, though it cost $150 a night due to the jacuzzi.
Has a view of the ferry! Great rolls and cinnamon rolls. Has fried alligator as an appetizer. The food was phenomenal. The prices were a little high and the service was mediocre, but I would come back for sure.
