Dr. Louis is a dentist who is friendly and smiles a lot. I think he is happy to see the fliers that they have been passing out are working in helping him build up his new patient base. They have pretty high tech instruments that let you see the inside of your mouth. The dental office is located off of the really large busy street of Alvarado Niles. It is really easy to find.
The deal is really tempting. They offer teeth cleaning, examination, x-rays, and consultation all for $49. It is a $230 value. The Chew Dental Group was brought to my attention by a flyer that they had been distributing for a few weeks through the local newspaper, the Argus. They offer a really tempting deal for new patients to sign up with them. It is quite an incentive.
The people at at Berkeley Tow were not cooperative at all. He contested the towing charge and I think it might've ended up in his favor. My friend actually got his motorcycle towed away a few years ago by this company. He was steaming mad because they took it unnecessarily (he was seriously legally parked and had checked the sign several times to make sure).
I got a few bunches of bok choy and Chinese broccoli once for just a few dollars. I was first introduced to Han Ii Oriental Market by a fellow classmate who swore to the freshness and prices. She definitely did not let me down. I agree that the food seems like a great bargain if you're looking for vegetables (especially the asian variety).
Applied Ballet Dance Center holds its place among the other studios in how many competitions and awards. They have quite talented teachers and the students enjoy the classes. In the real world, I would say that taking dance lessons is not as influential at an older age for people who just do it for fun, but the young girls do learn a great deal of discipline and concentration from it.
The majority of the instructors that I've seen or heard about are wonderful here. Things have improved a lot since this studio began and there was some good growth. Class sizes are optimal, not too big nor too small. The yearly recitals are the highlights of the students lessons, especially the younger ones. I believe the tuition is paid monthly and is around 45 dollars or so for one class twice a week.
The Delta Optical Outlet operates just like a typical optometrist office, except it is a bit smaller since it's an outlet and the prices are better. The best thing about it is the occasional specials for an eye exam, 1 pair of prescription glasses, and 1 pair of prescription sunglasses all for half the price of other places. That was a while ago. That's usually the price of a pair of glasses alone! The staff is pretty small.
The first thing that will strike you about this otherwise average optometrist office is the really expansive inventory of frame styles for glasses and sunglasses. It is really impressive. Frames come in all shapes and sizes. They have thick librarian plastic, thin plastic, metal, thin silve, rimless, bifocals. It is a lot of fun trying on all sorts of looks.
