Computer Handyman
Our family desktop was acting up last year after we installed some new photo software. It was conflicting with the existing programs, but unistalling the photo software didn't help. We had heard good things about computer handyman from a neighbor who had similar issues with his PC. One visit was enough to fix the problem and they were very friendly with explaining how to go about the diagnostic and problem solving on our own next time.
Jamie's Dance Co
I took a jazz class here once and it was really fun and great exercise. You learn the flexiblity and poise of trained dancing coupled with a very physical endurance workout. Stretching is a must. The routines start out easy in beginner jazz. Every few lessons you work your way on up in difficulty levels.
Evans Louis P Dds
Dr. Louis is a dentist who is friendly and smiles a lot. I think he is happy to see the fliers that they have been passing out are working in helping him build up his new patient base. They have pretty high tech instruments that let you see the inside of your mouth. The dental office is located off of the really large busy street of Alvarado Niles. It is really easy to find.
Chartier Kimberly - Chew Dental Group
The deal is really tempting. They offer teeth cleaning, examination, x-rays, and consultation all for $49. It is a $230 value. The Chew Dental Group was brought to my attention by a flyer that they had been distributing for a few weeks through the local newspaper, the Argus. They offer a really tempting deal for new patients to sign up with them. It is quite an incentive.
Appian Video
The store is well organized and you can find what you need without too much trouble. The clerk is usually really nice and will give recommendations for good movies if you ask him for his opinion. The late fee for returns can sometimes be negotiated or removed if you are a good, longtime, and loyal customer.
Berkeley Tow
The people at at Berkeley Tow were not cooperative at all. He contested the towing charge and I think it might've ended up in his favor. My friend actually got his motorcycle towed away a few years ago by this company. He was steaming mad because they took it unnecessarily (he was seriously legally parked and had checked the sign several times to make sure).
Han Ii Oriental Market
I got a few bunches of bok choy and Chinese broccoli once for just a few dollars. I was first introduced to Han Ii Oriental Market by a fellow classmate who swore to the freshness and prices. She definitely did not let me down. I agree that the food seems like a great bargain if you're looking for vegetables (especially the asian variety).
