Tanning Beach Studio
Never having been to a tanning salon before, I was quite suprised at this place. It didn't appear to be very clean and the girl that was working there seemed most interested in getting paid instead of letting me know the ins and outs of a tanning booth. I only went here once and quickly found another establishment to do business.
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home
This business took care of all the arrangement when a relative passed away and really helped us out so much at a difficult time. Nobody is really sure what all needs to be done when someone passes away, but the owners took over and guided us through a very difficult time. I would recommend this business to anyone.
Magic Moments
A large portion of my wedding attire was purchased or rented from this shop. They did a wonderfu job making sure all our measurements were just right and getting the clothing done on time. No problems whatsoever. Prices are comparable to other area facilities and the folks that work here are great to work with. Not a lot of parking available.
Hefko Floral Co
While this store has lots of different types of servies availalbe besides just selling flowers, they don't seem to be as on top of their game as others in the area. Orders are often goofed up and, even though they make good on them, the damage is already done and sometimes things don't get fixed in time. Prices are quite good, though, so it's probably worth a shot to try these guys out.
Tradition Cleaners
A good dry cleaner is very difficult to find, but these guys do a wonderful job. Your clothing is always done when promised, sometimes it's ready for you sooner than promised. The prices are very reasonable and since it's located on a main street in Marshfield, it's very easy to locate.
Rae Baxter's Fashion Shop
This store seems to cater to older woman, think more along the lines of mother of the bride dresses. The styles are very tasteful and elegant but definitely not to everyones tastes. The ladies that work here are nice and easy to deal with. Prices aren't too bad and there are lots of accessories to match with your new outfit. Parking is quite limited but there is parking available behind the store.
Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio
This store is located on one of the busiest streets in Marshfield but they do offer some very nice products. I was referred to this store by a friend of mine, telling me that the makeup line was the best she had ever tried. She was right, it is great. A little pricey, but I am willing to spend extra on looking good. Parking is somewhat limited but there are side streets and parking behind the building.
P J's Plus Apparel
I been to this store several times to look for gifts. They have a wonderful selection of clothing for the plus size woman. The styles they carry range from very dressy or formal to clean casual. These are not styles that are available in any of the area stores, so this is a unique shopping experience. Prices are moderate and the ladies that work here are extremely friendly and helpful.
Book World
This is a small bookstore located on a very busy street in Marshfield. They do offer lots of different types of titles and even tobacco products. There isn't a lot of parking, but there is parking out back behind the building, just not very visible to the first time customer. The folks that work here are nice and friendly to deal with, too.
Salon Central
My aunt get her hair cut at this place and she seems happy enough with them. There isn't a lot of parking and since she is elderly, it can be a little tricky for her, but the ladies at the shop are nice and helpful. Prices are in line with area competition.
