Bows & Boards Flower & Gift
This is a fun flower and gift shop to visit. They have so much stuff in their store, it feels like you are walking thru another dimension. But the flowers are really pretty and the gift items are unique and reasonably priced. The girls that work here are very helpful with designing the perfect flower arrangment. I would recomment this store to anyone looking for a great florist.
Hancock Fabrics
This store offers every imagineable type of fabric there is. Sometimes the prices seem a little high, but you can't buy most of these items at the local department store. They have sale bins that are very nice to dig through, once in a while you'll find an awesome deal. The folks that work here are very knowledgeable about sewing and crafts. Lots of parking available, too.
The Sports Den
This is a nice store to look to exercise equipment. It is a smaller store so you get more personal attention than you would at the larger chain stores. The prices aren't too bad and the folks that work here are really easy to talk to. They know their products. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for fitness equipment.
Wind Family Farms
For a very precarious looking job, these folks make it look easy. I have had them clean our chimney a couple times and they are always very prompt in setting up a time to come out to your house. The price seems very fair, but there aren't a lot of people around here that do this type of work. I would not hesitate to call them when the chimney needs cleaning again.
Central Wisconsin Steam Way
I have called these folks several times to clean up one of our apartments after a tenant has left and they always do a wonderful job. They are priced very competitively for the area and can usually come out within a day or two of the first phone call. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good carpet cleaner.
R & L Custom Woodworking
We had R & L do our kitchen cabinets and have gotten so many compliments on them. We are very happy with what we received and the price was just right. They were very helpful in helping us choose which style and color would look right in our home and would pretty come over at any time of the day or evening if you had questions. If you need cabinets done, this is the place to call.
Sternweis & Sons Inc
We looked here when we were picking out tiles for a remodeling project at home. They have a very large selection of decorative tile and brick available. Also have nice price lists that take the confusion out of it. Their prices are on the steep side, but the customer service more than makes up for that. They are very upfront about costs that are and that are not included in quotes. Very easy to deal with these folks.
Heberts Workshop
I have used this guy to work on my washing machine and he does a wonderful job. And since he isn't affiliated with any major chain stores, his prices are much more reasonable, too. He is very accomodating, will work after 5:00 in the evening if that's what needs to be done. I would call him again in a heartbeat if I needed more help with my washer, which hopefully I won't!
Kirby Company Of Marshfield
These guys are really on the ball when it comes to servicing Kirby Vacuums. Anytime I have called they have been coureous and informative. I have not needed much service on my vacuum at all, but when I have, they stock most of the parts that you would need, so there isn't any waiting involved while they wait for the part to arrive. I would recommend this store to anyone.
Team Distributing INC
This store has some house cleaners that aren't sold anywhere else in the area. The prices are very reasonable and the people are extraordinarily easy to deal with. There isn't a lot of parking available but it is very easy to find right on a main street in town. I have told several of my friends about this place and they all rave about it too.
