I went into this store on a whim and am glad I did. They had a nice selection of beads and accessories. Staff asked if there was a particular project I had in mind. They were helpful in pointing out beads that would work for it and even beads that wouldn't work as well.

It's a little out of the way for me but I will definately stop by with my next important project.

Austin Shoe Hospital

I broke the heel on my favorite pair of boots. On the recommendation of a friend I took them here to be fixed. I was surprised by the quailtiy. You couldn't tell they had been repaired.

It might seem costly to some, but no where near as costly as buying a new pair of boots.

I found this store because our school sent home a flyer saying on a certain day a percentage of the profits would be donated to the school. Great idea!

This is a great place to get supplies for homeschooling or your classroom. You can get gift certificates to give to your children's teachers.

We use Abbey Printing for our training manuals. They have the best price for spiral binding. Our projects always come out looking great.

The very few times we had a problem it was fixed immediately with no additional cost to us.

Apartment Experts South

I also had good luck with this apartment locating service. I told them over the phone what I wanted and the price I wanted to spend. When I arrived for my appointment everything was ready to go.

There was a little bit of misinformation in the first place we went. They wanted $100 more for the deposit than what the locator said. We got lucky on our third try.

The apts wanted to charge me first and last months rent but the locator helped explain my situation and that was waived when I found a cosigner.

Within hours I had the perfect apartment. I called ahead and let them know what I needed and the price range. When I arrived they had a list of apartments ready for me to look at. We went to look at the apartments on the list and by the time I got to the second one I had found the perfect apartment.

Two Sister's Moving Co

I woud not recommend calling this company for an estimate. We made an appointment and waited and waited. When I called the person was very airy and couldn't tell us what happened. We made another appointment and the same thing happened.

When I called again I was finally told that they just didn't have time for me due to personal issues.

Apple Moving

We used Apple Moving the last time we moved our office. They gave us a quote and brought boxes with no problem. The move went smoothly. They came quite close to their estimate.

there was damage to an item but the process to get reimbursed was smooth.

Woodlawn Baptist Church

I used this child care center for 4 years and would not have left if we would not have moved. They have a nice new play area for the older kids. They also do a lot of craft projects. They worked based on a Christian theme and it can be nice to have this influence. The summer program does a lot of extras including a play at the end.

Krav Maga Self Defense

I was very impressed and exhausted after my first session at krav maga.

The instructors are excellent and take the time to explain to newcomers.

The area is very small though and there isn't a lot of work room. I was a little hesitant because this class was mostly well built men. When it came time to get a partner I had to work with one of the female trainers because there wasn't enough women. It would be great if there was more of a beginner or women's only class.

PROS: Best workout I've ever had.
CONS: Crowded and beginners easily overwhelmed
