Needed to purchase a chair. Went to multiple places and finally ended here. At the time they were moving (the address on this is not correct) and were having a really big sale. I got a really great deal on this chair.
The store is family owned and operated. The customer service was of high quality and follow-up was excellent.
PROS: Good Selection, Great Products
In this day and age I expect good quality products for a decent price. This store sometimes hits the mark on select items, and then misses the mark on others.
Furniture here is cheap quality, yet carries a high price tag. Most of their items are from Indonesia. Need I say more. Why someone would pay $500 for a table they could by at American Furniture Warehouse for $200 is beyond me. I assume it has something to do with being able to say, oh I bought that at Pier One.
They do have some really cute items, very similar to what Hobby Lobby carries in their home decor section. I like to hit their clearance sales and have gotten some really good deals on items. Worth checking out for sure.
PROS: Neat Stuff
CONS: Cheap Quality and Pricey
If you can catch a sale at Michaels then you are doing good. They have a wide selection of craft items. They don't overdo their area of expertise by carrying tons of home decor items like Hobby Lobby. The layout of the store is simple and things are generally easy to find.
Their prices are about average, but you can get items cheaper elsewhere. Sales and coupons are a must at this store.
Their picture framing services are needing some serious help. While I understand this is a new store and I am sure they have some kinks to work out, the time they tell you is not he time you get. It took them about 2 months to frame my pictures that they said they would have done in about 3 weeks. Then when I went to pick up the items, they had to redo one of them. Granted when I finally got them, they were very nice but the time thing really was annoying.
PROS: Good Deals, Crafts Galore
CONS: Horrible Framing Services
Recently I went with a friend to this particular business. She was having problems with her cingular phone (actually she is still ATT Wireless, she refused to accept cingulars plan because well it stunk compared to the one she has through ATT). We walked in and the gentelmen was rude right off the get go. He sat in his chair and asked if we needed anything, while playing a game on his phone.
My friend asked if he could help her with a feature on her phone (she wanted to know if she could reprogram one of the keys). He took the phone from her and started to mess with it. Needless to say he couldn't get the change done and ended up making a disaster out of her phone.
While he was messing around he apparently noticed that she was still an ATT wireless "person". He promptly attacked her with the "you have to switch over now because you wont have service in a while". Of course she explained to this man (something she has discussed with the phone reps over and over again) that she did not HAVE to switch and that she would only switch if cingular gave her the same deal and did not extend her contract past 1 year (she was on a 2 year contract with a 1 yr 6 mos. to go).
He just started to argue with her stating that she would lose her signal and wouldn't be allowed to use the cingular network soon. She laughed and said, "im using it right now and have a cingular card in my phone so how exactly am i going to lose a signal". He got pissed at her and told her to just leave the store.
Nice customer service. It was rather funny because the store had other customers in it. On her way out, she told two of them if they wanted to get the worst customer service to stick with cingular. If they wanted to at least be treated with some respect, they should go anywhere else.
The customers left right in the middle of signing new contracts.
CONS: Horrible Customer Service
I love places that sell office supplies. So many gadgets and gizmo's to buy. I like Office Depot because in general they carry most office supplies. They are a bit more expensive than say your local discount center, but they do have them.
Yes you can get a price match, but it is like pulling teeth. If you don't have proof (like an ad) then forget it.
Check out can be a bummer. I have stood around waiting to buy a small item for way to long. They really need to look into a more efficient check out system than what they currently have.
Products sometimes are not in stock. It is really annoying when you try to buy a desk or chair and pull one of their cards only to find out that gee it won't be until their next delivery. They should do better with their card system as far as what is and isn't in stock.
Recently I called about a computer they told me they had in stock. I drove down and gee the computer sold within the 3 minutes it took for me to get there. I complained and they found another one in a store and had it shipped to that location. I was able to get that computer. So it was nice that they backed up their words with action, but it was still rather inconvenient.
PROS: Good products
CONS: Higher Prices than discount, Need better price match policy
Ok, so if you like to shop in commercialized bra and panty shops then this is the shop for you. Ladies, what is so special about a Victoria Secret Bra? I have never understood this concept. Especially considering that the only person who knows you are wearing it, is you. Let's face it your boyfriends or husbands are NOT going to say, hey you are wearing a VS bra and panty. They are more likely to say, how fast can I get that sucker off ; )
I have purchased bra's from them in the past and have found the following: they make me ichy and they don't last very long.
If you can hit one of their sales, then that is a great deal (if they have your size). The deals are great and worth shopping for.
PROS: Sale Prices are Good
CONS: Poor Quality
The Denver Zoo has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. However in the past few years the Denver Zoo has gone under amazing changes, and now has much more exhibits to offer visitors.
Located in Denver's City Park, the zoo is in a convenient location. The Denver Museum is located right next to the zoo, making a full day event (admission is required at both).
The zoo is open every day of the year, and closes at either 4pm or 5pm depending on the season.
Admission is a bit steep, but with the new attractions it is well worth it. Children under 3 are free, ages 3-1 are $7.00, ages 12-64 are $11.00, and 65+ are $9.00.
Predator Ridge is a fantastic exhibit that was opened this year. The aquatic life on exhibit is awsome, much better than ocean journey. The bird house is a must see, with birds all around you freely walking and flying.
The food is a bit pricey, but you can bring in your own food and enjoy a picnic (be sure to bring a blanket). A large majority of the zoo has shade, except the newer portions of the zoo (to the east) due to everything being so new.
So gather up the children, take a picnic, and get ready for a day of adventures.
PROS: New exhibits, lots of animals
CONS: Pricey Food
Everytime I see outlet stores I have to wonder why it seems I can walk into the regular store and still find better prices. Anyway, I have purchased some items from Osh Gosh and they do hold up relatively well. Of course if they don't you can return them and the store will replace them. In children of such young ages that return policy is generaly not used because the kids outgrow the clothing before this would actually happen.
This store is clean and kept well stocked, although during sales watch out because mommies will be all over the place taking things left and right. The check out process is smooth, although I have had to wait sometimes in a long line. The staff was friendly and very willing to help answer questions.
I would recommend this place for those who want a brand name clothing store and want to pay reasonable prices for clothing with a wear them out return policy. Selection is limited to stock on hand. Nothing special but nothing horrible either.
PROS: Return Policy
CONS: Limited Stock
Wedding bells ringing and I needed flower arrangments and a bouqet. They had a wonderful selection of arrangments and the flowers were of very high quality. The arrangments were delivered to the church promptly and they set them up. The other set was delivered to the reception location and set up on the cake and around the areas. Without any instruction from me or anyone else they made everything look beautiful. I would highly recommend them for any event.
They also did the arrangments for my grandfathers funeral. They were also very curtious and made wonderful arrangements. Would highly recommend.
PROS: Beautiful Flowers, Professional
Generally I tend to not purchase flowers from the local grocery store. For some reason the flowers usually are not a good variety. However, recently I was in a hurry and needed some flowers. I stopped at the King Soopers because it was close and I receved very good service. The flowers I purchased lasted for a very long time and were very healthy. They also were very inexpensive. I would for sure purchase flowers from them again, very impressive.
PROS: High Quality Flowers, Low Price
