I am not sure if Dr.'s offices do not feel they need to provide good customer service because there is always a wealth of sick folks out there that need a doctor, but I have a certain bad taste in my mouth when I leave a Dr.'s office and feel as if I was almost invisible while I was there. This is unfortunately the experience I had at this Dr.'s office. When I was leaving, I stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Then, I was still wondering if I'd done everything I was supposed to before leaving. Especially when you're sick and not quite thinking straight as it is. I actually look forward to using Insider Pages myself to find a Dr.'s office in the area that I live in that values customer service even if you are sick and you have to be there, not of your own accord. I would definitely not say this is one of those offices.
Collectible Coins & Jewelry
I have learned so much about coins and jewelry just by being within the walls of this business. Carter is the owner and is a wealth of knowledge and evidently loves the work that he does. You are compelled to ask questions for the joy that is received and given in the answering of them. Whether you're looking for something in particular or just interested in what's out there, Carter will help you just the same and with top notch customer service, indeed!
Hillside Church of Marin
Perhaps one of the key ingredients most faith communities lack present day is the understanding and doling out of this mysterious thing we call grace. Hillside doles out gobs and gobs of it. You will be welcomed considerably, loved and given graced in abundance. For children and teenagers, there are excellent programs available. Staff members are open and willing to discuss any questions that you might have. Fabulous place to come with doubts and questions about faith.
Asian Market
As much as I love going to a Thai restaurant and having someone from the country cook a delectable dish for me, I also love trying my hand at it myself. This store has a solid collection of items that make me homesick for Asia. Even when you go to an Asian Restaurant, there are the little snacks and fresh fruits that aren't necessarily served. This little nook is a real Asian Food lovers paradise!
Marin Beverage Outlet
The service is excellent here...ask for Charlie and he will explain his products, let you try them and give you all the background information you could ever want to know. For wine connesieurs or for those who prefer beer or any other choice of beverage. This is a fine place for reasonable prices and great selection combined.

You can get a bit overwhelmed when walking into this massive store for stationary, not to be alarmed. The staff is great and very helpful. I really must tell you about this place, though, because if you are getting married or putting on a large party of any kind, the selection of paper is extremely unique and inexpensive. It can be a bit tricky to find, I would call in advance and get good directions.
Mill Valley Florist
This unique little shop offers a fabulous roadside display of their gorgeous picks of the day. The location is near the depot and quaint boutiques, as well as a hop, skip and a jump from the City of Mill Valley Public Library. Perfect for an afternoon stroll to pick something and receive quality service. Delightful.
Goodman Building and Supply
My husband and I frequent this hardware store because it's close and we are remodeling our apartment. We always find what we're looking for and the service is humorous and top notch. They also have a "help yourself" popcorn machine, which makes for a very nice treat while standing in line. They offer a value card for any customer to sign up for which does give great savings. It feels good to support your local hardware store, instead of large chain stores and the prices are no more expensive, either.
Mill Valley Cabinet Shop
This cabinet shop has seen some up and down days, which have caused it to be a bit unbalanced. Unless you are going to this location to work directly with Alex, from Bambino Woodworks, who rents out the space, you most likely will not receive quality or personalized service.
Elmack Cabinetry
This business is run like a well-oiled machine. The hands that craft the cabinets and furtniture are skilled and caring. They strive for perfection in their work. The family that has owned this business for many years still owns it and it has a fine balance of professionalism and personability. Most of the clients are contractors or designers.
