This is a mail store, with a new name. Mail Boxes Etc, is the original. They are not as great as before. It is always understaffed and the store is kept rather messy. They do not greet you when you walk in. I think that any store that doesn't have an isle, at least should say hello. If there is going to be a wait, I would rather know, than just be left standing there. The services offered, are great. I have never had a problem with the delivery times on the packages that I have sent. They are now a branch of Ups, so they should be on time. The prices however seem to have gone up. Your best deal is the regular old post office. BUt if you are in a hurry, stop by here.
If you are like me, then you love chocalate. It has got to be the best fix when you have a sweet tooth. Godiva chocolate is smooth and creamy, and it is a favorite for all. They have put ttogether a store that sells all kinds of these candies. How great is that? You can find several different baskets available for purchase. If you want, they will even help you create your own. This is alot of fun. You have lots of different items to choose from, and they will help decorate it with ribbons and stuffed animals. They are a little pricey, but I don't eat from them everyday. It is a great little store, and they are very helpful all the way through.
We often choose Motel 6 motels when we travel believing that all we are really going to do is sleep there. Well, before we moved to Las Vegas and we stayed at there Motel 6 and were very suprised.
We took the time to go back on a weekend getaway. Between visiting some relatives who live in the area and sightseeing, we really only do sleep in our hotel room.
The Motel 6 in Las Vegas is a typical older Motel 6 in that the rooms are very basic. You can request either one queen size bed or two double beds. We always ask for non-smoking, but there are smoking rooms available. Everything is clean here, from the sheets and linens to the white bath and hand towels. Guests are given a small bar of soap in the basin area and one in the shower as well. No small shampoo bottles or hair dryers are provided. The carpeting in this particular Motel 6 had been a bit on the rundown side, but apparently was redone in recent years, because it is now perfectly acceptable. A dresser/desk combination with chair also was in our room. The rooms are on the small side too. I believe I learned that this is one of the older original Motel 6 motels.
Motel 6 offers cable television and includes HBO. Local calls are free and they now have a coffee machine in each room. There is also a coffee machine in the corner of the lobby, but only powdered creamer with packets of sugar. Of course, the ice machine is nearby as well. There is a rack of numerous brochures in the lobby area for display of local attractions. (Note: No continental breakfast is provided.)
Going to Disney World as a child, I was spoiled. My grandparents took us twice in the mid-to-late 80's, and both times, we stayed on site just one or two monorail stops from the Magic Kingdom. Now that I'm all grown up, the financial responsibilities for funding any and all of our travel endeavours lie in the hands of my husband and me. Through some careful planning and well-made connections, we were able to secure a $39/night employee rate through some friends of ours with whom we met up once we had arrived. I was a little disappointed not so much by our rate, which completely elated me, but by thinking that staying off property would be sub par by way of amenities, transportation, and convenience. Luckily, most of my pre-conceived notions were false figments of my imagination.
Passing through limited access gates, which are sometimes manned by a security guard, we entered the village consisting of a Courtyard, a Springfield Suites, and a Fairfield Inn all situated around an attractive water fountain. The lobby was comfortable but extremely well air-conditioned. The tiled floors and upholstered chairs complemented the light color scheme. The lobby bar, and big screen TV in the secondary sitting area closer to the doors out to the swimming pool made it a very inviting place to relax. Checking in was simple and easy. We were given a packet of information that included our keys, our shuttle bus pass to the parks, a discount coupon for the breakfast buffet, a welcome letter, a shuttle schedule and another sheet stating that purpose behind the $7.50 per night transportation charge. Even if we had not been staying in the hotel to visit any of the nearby Orlando theme parks, I do find it respectable that they did clearly inform us of the charge ahead of time.
Was A Quite enjoyable experience and I would certainally reccomend it.
The hotel itself is decorated both inside and out in traditional Thai style, though all the mod-cons are still present. There is a jacuzzi above the main pool with powerful jets which provide a good back massage, though the best place to go for a massage is the spa at the hotel. It is more expensive than the massages offered on the strip, but well worth it. The staff are friendly and the food is OK (though more pricy than in the town), and the hotel is located within 10 minutes walk of the strip and facilities.
We had absolutely no complaints about this hotel when we stayed there once, though we were a little nervous after making reservation's for some of our family who came out to visit. It is in a central location and fairly easy to walk to just about anywhere. We liked the fact that it isn't a big tourist attraction because the hotel and casino were both quieter and less crowded than any other we visited. We were always glad to get back to the Monte Carlo after visiting other places. The Spa was wonderful and so were the pools. The room was very nice, though not something that would take your breath away. The view from the room was extrordinary. Service was all you could expect and employees were friendly and cooperative. When we have family and friend's out here, we will surely recommend they stay at monte carlo.
Laughing Jackalope Bar and Grill is got to be the best restaurant,in Las Vegas. The accommodations are its best asset. The Waitresses are the nicest people I have ever seen. The best dish has to be their one of a kind Zesty Buffalo Wings.
If anybody is searching for a place to have a party, or just somewhere to go hang out with friends and you are in the Las Vegas area.it's the place to be. The humongous big screen television is like no other for a football game or sport event. The food and drinks are also exceptional.
There is a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. For adults there are an assortment of alcoholic beverages, or for the children there are many sodas and punches to choose from.
The good part about the Laughing Jackalope Bar and Grill is the way it is divided. If you want to have a party out back on a beautiful day, they have a deck outside to accomidate you, or if you want to have a birthday party there is a non-smoking section in the back for the children, and for the adults there is a separate big screen television for sports events in the bar.
I meet friends here sometimes in a pinch since it's a sportsbar, but the food service is lacking. Fries have been soggy, and the burgers are forgetable. I've had good wings here, but bad ones...but there are several beers on tap and many TVs. Good place to watch a game. More of a bar. The 'famous' chili cheese fries were awful. The fries were super soggy due to to watery chili. Wings were just OK...i need them to be crispy...these were soggy as well. Gets busy for games...beer is cold and drinks are strong.Good pub to hang out with friends and shoot the breeze.
I have been buying crafting items for as long as i can remember. My mother loves doing them, and I can make great gift baskets for her. They have alot of items in stock and available for purchase. They also have a large selection of instrucution booklets. This is rare. I usually can only find supplies, and no decent patterns. Thats not the case here. They have all the itms you will need. I also found several beginner patterns for children. This is great for the summertime, and actually pretty cheap. You can find huge sales on the thread and yarn. They have all your favorite colors in stock and neatly stored. They are a great little hobby shop.
I love going out for a drink at a bar. This one, turned out to be suprising. The staff here, actually sings and dances. I love it. It puts the whole bar in a really good mood. they have good prices on all their drinks. Happy hour is just that ... everyone is happy listening to the music and watching the show the staff is putting on. It makes for a great time out. It does give it a homey feeling. I guess its good they got the Cheers name. I have never had so much fun at a bar. I also enjoyed they're video poker. They have pool playing contests and everything. They are kind of hidden on harmon. It is right near the college, so there are always plenty of people to mingle with. I love the whole idea of this bar, I hope you feel the same.
