This is a great experience for kids and adults alike. They have all kinds of events and show. I really like the dolphin show it is fun to watch. There are so many sea creatures to see, your family could really make a whole day of it.
Express
Don't let the name fool you, you won't find coffee here, but you will find very fashionable clothing. The prices are a little high, but it is worth paying for top quality and the newest looks.
Chicago Childrens Museum
Kids just love this place because there is plenty of fun things to do. It is located inside of Chicago's Navy Pier. The only thing I don't like about this place is that you have to pay full price if you are over 2 yrs. They could push the age back a little or at least have a discounted price for younger children.
Chernins Shoe Outlet
I love this shoe store, not only do they have a great selection, but the prices never change, almost all of the women's shoes are only $10 dollars. The quality is also good.
Americas Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
This is a nice inexpensive place to go for glasses and they have great styles. I like that they almost always have their get two pairs for $69 deal going. You really cant bet that.
Oil Change Lane
This is the only place that I get my oil changed now. I like that they come out and show you the oil stick so you can see the color and level, everyone there is so nice. It only takes 15 minutes and best of all they dont try to pressure you into getting other work done.
Public Auto Auction
I have only good things to say about the auction. An hour before the auction starts you get to go in the lot and review all the cars to be auctioned. Bids on repossessed cars starts at $100. I got a car from there and it lasted me for about 2 yrs before it gave me any problems.
South Chicago Dodge
This is where I bought my first new car. I only got a new car though because the day before that they sold me a lemon that broke down as soon as I got home. They were not going to do anything about it, but I threatened to go public with my story and they caved. Everyone there is a jerk.
Dollar General
This dollar store has ok stuff, if you are willing to sift though it. This is the messiest store I have ever been in, and I have been to more than one of their locations. There is no kind of organization.
Hollywood Video
I rent videos here very often, at least once a week. They have a big selection and the prices are great. New releases are $3.79, but you get them for five days. The best thing about this video store is there guarantee. On Tuesdays when new releases come out they guarantee you a copy or you get a rain check for a free copy. You cant beat that!
