We've taken both our Saturn and our Mazda Minivan to this auto repair station. They have great little perks, like they'll let you drop vehicle before hours with a key drop off slot, and they had no problem with us having a dog (yes) in the waiting room in bad weather. I had some problem with break repairs on the Saturn where we had to take them back more than once, and although I don't know much about breaks, felt like almost loosing break usage on the road and having to put in break fluid myself before getting it back to them was above and beyond especially when I paid almost $400 for the repairs. It may have been a miscommunication, but I doubt it. I started looking for a new auto repair place after this trip. Other repairs were fine. Cost of repairs seemed to be a bit high.
PROS: great little perks, nice workers
CONS: ? about repairs done corretly first time
Paul is a great mechanic - knows cars. Always honest about whether repairs should be made on older cars; will look at cars you plan on purchasing. Great with the older ladies at Kennedy Terrace. Very busy, well-run business.
PROS: Honest, hard working.
This restaurant is our favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area. The prices are reasonable and the buffet is excellent. My kids loved going to it from babies onward. The staff is friendly. Busy place.
PROS: Great variety, good food, great buffet, friendly staff!
This Petsmart store has friendly employees, who seemed to be as excited about dogs as my kids are. This is the one store where the kids don't bug me to leave - of course, the bug me for more guinea pigs, but I can handle that! Take your animal food coupons and sometimes they have the same products on sale. Also, they now have a Petsmart card to get the sale prices.
PROS: Well-lite store, friendly employees.
This store has a good selection. My kids are always able to find something new. The clerks have great suggestions and seem to know about all the games coming out.
PROS: Knowledgeable staff.
CONS: None yet
We're new to the area. Had never seen a Checkers before. We tried the big bufford sandwhich for 2 for $3 and found them to be way better than McDonald's Quarter lb-ers and cheaper! The french fries are okay. The shakes are excellent. I an feed a family of 3 (one 18 yr old boy) for about $5-$7 less than I can at McDonald's and we like it better.
PROS: Great hamburgers!
CONS: the people can not hear order thru the speaker - but you just go up there
This thrift store is one of the better ones in the area. It is clean, well set-up, and the people go out of their way to make the process smooth. They have a large variety of items there - we moved from Massachusetts with only a van load and have found many great items at this thrift store.
PROS: Clean, organized.
I had this insurance company for years when I lived in Massahusetts. They always went out of their way for customers; from explaining the details of the insurance plans, to getting problems with registry resolved, to calling you when you forgot to get the payment in on time!
PROS: Great customer service!
This Walgreen's is a great store. The store is set up well. The clerks almost always great you on the way in. There is a small rack in the back of discount items. Clerks go out of their way to open the cash register at the makeup desk when there is need.
PROS: Great clerks, reasonable prices, great deals.
CONS: Sometimes they don't have stock on sale items; but the do Rainchecks!
This Kroger's Supermarket is well-setup. I seem to be able to find most brands. The produce is always good - does not go bad too fast. The meat is expensive but good. This store offers good sales most weeks. Great place to shop!
PROS: well-lite store, reasonable prices, good sales
CONS: none to speak of
