University of Nevada Las Vegas
I absolutely loved the courses and professors.Unlike the Business college, every student has a name. The professors come from all over the world. In one semester I had professors from Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Czech Republic and Canada, to name a few. They bring to the classes an amazing amount of first hand experience which is essential for Political Science classes. The department is a close knit group of professors who know each other very well, and know most of their students on a personal level. Even though most are published, they offer office hours and will meet with any student at any time, for whatever reason. These professors do not coddle students and expect them to engage themselves in every class. The students in this department were very interactive and interested in their education.
On the other hand, there is the Business department. This department is like running the ultimate gauntlet. The classes are scheduled poorly, and for the amount of students there are, there are not nearly enough class times offered. From a students point of view, they are trying as hard as they can for students to spend as many years as possible working their way through the system. A suggestion to ANY student at this school would be to get EVERYTHING in writing. If an advisor tells you something, make sure they write it and sign it. Their correctness will be called into question many times along the line, and you will be glad you had something in writing to prove that you are on the right track. Also, the students in this department usually already have good management jobs on the Strip anyway, and are not interested in coming to class, coming on time, or participating while they are there.

Registration is tedious involving filling out the plethora of forms which is the standard now for any recruitment agency. Eastridge unfortunately run a fine line between finding work for you on the one hand, and putting your name forward to a company on the other - which are two distinct things. Often it is not clear to what extent they are really making an effort to find you work.I put down the fact that I wasn't called back on two occassions down to poor inter-office communication. When a consultant for Eastridge does actually call, it is often to suggest a particular job they may put your name forward for which is something the candidate would probably want them to do anyway. The consequences are situations where candidates are frequently sidelined for jobs they may otherwise have applied for, through the agency's discretion. Eastridge can also be criticized for seeming to advertise jobs in local newspapers that don't actually exist. Responding to a job advert in a newspaper was the only reason I registered with Eastridge - and it was only after filling out the endless forms did I realize that the job I enquired about had been filled for weeks.

Ace Cab Company
I actually make it a point to request Ace Cab Company,because i've never had a negative experience with the company.The driver's seem conversational but not overly chatty and whenever I request a cab they are there promptly and get me to where i'm going with little hassle.There was a day that it was flooding in North Las Vegas and Ace cab's still managed to get to my destination without overcharging me for the ridiculous wait.

Cut It Out
Many time's I had tried to get my kid's to get there hair cut at a barber/salon.Of course at every attempt they would freak out and make a big scene of it.However at Cut It Out they took on a new approach and made my children feel comfortable throughout the experience.Now my kid's actually look forward to getting a haircut,and the Hairdresser's there actually do a remarkable job,so it's not just that there good with kid's but there also good at what they do.

I had a brake job done on my car and the manager even offered to give me a ride to work.The job was finished by noon and they called and i came to pick up the car.The bill was very reasonable compared to other places.This location was very convenient for me since i work in it's general area. I will definitely use this mechanic shop for all my future auto repair needs.

Finding an honest jewler who pays that much attention to detail is a near impossible service, I am just glad that I found this one!
Fed Ex Kinko's Office & Print
I went to this Kinkos for the first time today because I was in the area. I did not leave my project with them because it was going to take them 24 hours to make simple copies and they weren't crowded. The acted so " put out " that they had to work at all.I will go to the more efficent and friendly Kinkos on Sahara next time.

Mr Christals Luxury Pet Care is the best pet store i have ever been to. When Myself and my family visited Mr Christals Luxury Pet Care store in for the first time, we were very impressed by the whole store, there were staff on hand to advise and help to our needs.The animals looked very well cared for and the place was very inviting, it had excellent display of accessories for your birds/hamsters/fish etc... we chose a fish tank for our Daughter's and the help we received was very good.we will be going again very soon.
